First of all yes there is small changes over time HOWEVER there is still lack of Proof whether those small changes create a whole new species! First off, there will [most likely] never be proof. Only a perponderance of evidence. This entire thread was supposed to be about the science method of ID, ...

No to move beyond a hypothesis you need to experimentally show the mechanisms in work in nature. Just wondering here BGood can you Show Macro Evolution? Not just the fact that an Elephant went from having Tusks to Tuskless. But show a Dinosaur Gradually changing into a Bird? I think I can answer th...

Please note, the entropy part REQUIRES an isolated sytem. Noted. Dr John Ross of Harvard University states: Ordinarily the second law is stated for isolated systems, but the second law applies equally well to open systems . … There is somehow associated with the field of far-from-equilibrium thermo...

More on thermodynamics Ok, for the up-tienth time, here are the first two laws of thermodynamics: First Law of Thermodynamics The first law of thermodynamics is often called the Law of Conservation of Energy. This law suggests that energy can be transferred from one system to another in many forms....

If A is false, what of B? if there are only two possible conclusions do we therfore have C? If we pretend to have C, we may as well call A true. Another way to look at this would be if A is false, look to B. Not, A is false, what do you mean A is false? Keep looking at A till it's true! A=false ~ W...

Please...make sense. Ranting isn't easy to understand I imagine a lot of ranting on these fora is a result of frustration caused by disagreements on basic issues. So by what avenue of logic can you come to the conclusion that natural selection can do that which no other force in the universe CAN do...

http://www.darwincountry.org/explore/001555.html 6th Oct, 1842: Charles Darwin's daughter, Mary Eleanor, died. Sorry for taking from such a biased source...but it's easier that way. Now who's being non sequitur 1) when people discuss the death of darwins children as being significant, they are refe...

Our sources seem to be in conflict...I have Alister McGrath on my side-who do you have (someone who can google...correct us please).. I have not lied. This is like saying President Bush lied when he said something based on the information he had at hand...I have done the same thing. And I'm not att...

JLeslie, I did propose a test. Show a method by which a single cell organism could have occurred without the aid of intelligence. If you can find a method, you will have disproven the need for intelligence in creating a single living cell. Oh - you meant a test that would prove ID false. My bad. Th...

You can't test to see if evolution occurred in the first place. If something happens in a beaker in the year 2006, it doesn't mean it happenned in a beaker in the year 1.4 billion BC. Second, you are extremely oversimplifying how Darwin came to his conclusion. He came to that conclusion, partly bec...

Hey Everyone! I'll throw a sample test. Take something that ID says is too complex to have happened through a random process like evolution and explain how it could have happened without intelligence. Take a single cell for example. If you can come up with an unintelligent cause for a single living...
