Re: Prophecy dude
It's a website that splits the signs into different categories and searches for global news that shows each one progressing. I thought it was interesting, kind of like cataloging our times, which by paying attention you can see the progression steering toward the end. He has his own blog, and some a...

Re: The Foolishness of Many Non-believers
Mr. T: Infants are not, as it were, people. Nor are children. Nor are Teenagers (A term which only came into relative use/existence after the First World War, I believe. Before that there was no 'slow' transition from childhood to adult hood. But a quick change from Schooling to working.) Wh...

Thadeyus: Because...at the very early stages...a blastocyte is little more than a partially differentiating clump of cancerous like cells. Something randomly moving through the woman's body looking for a place to latch on and begin draining nutrients from the host. It's not random movement, nor a ra...

Re: The Foolishness of Many Non-believers
I don't see any logic in comparing cancer cells with embryo. Embryo will not change into something else, not mutate into a different species or direction of cellular genesis. Cancer is the mutation. Show us Embryo can continue to form into anything but a human, and you might, might, have a reason to...

Re: Venting.
I'm surrounded with atheists, or uninterested people living solely for themselves and their own agendas. I live with one, my friends are them, the only people I see are them. You do what you can to try and have meaningful conversations. Explanations, reasoning, history, science, philosophy, morality...

Trying to find a video..
I watched a video linked from this forum, and can't seem to find it! It was this Christian theologist, he wore glasses, was a bigger guy and could quote the bible. he was absolutely brilliant. He was debating with someone from an aberrant religion. I can't remember if it was JW, LDS or SDA... :s Doe...

Re: Size of the universe, why is so big???
To shortly continue on what hughfarey was saying, our universe, and our placement of timing in it allows us to observe the way in which it was created, following it back to a point in time, the big bang. The universe is as big as it is because it needs to be, its a component of not only life, but ou...

Re: What would God say if he came here and why.
Lunella: I am of the opinion that the details of the "Christian" God are logically invalid I would like to know all the reasons you believe the Christian God to be illogical. Right, OK, so you're sticking with the prejudgment claim then? Interesting. Have I been pre punished, or just pre j...

Re: A Public Apology
Honestly, I think you're getting misunderstood and perhaps sometimes not articulating what you're trying to say in a way for the majority of posters to understand.

Re: Agnostic(Atheist) looking for good discussion
Lunella: The first thing I saw when I came here (from my point of view) was a bunch of atheist bashing, so I've been on the defensive. This is the only forum (on this site) that I read, because it is the only one mentioning non-belief (which is the category I fall under) If you really want to know w...

Re: Basis for belief?
Unfortunately your question and answer is lacking the all of the above box, my belief is based on all these things and more. I think to base your beliefs on only one line of evidence is narrow minded and a big mistake, when forming beliefs we should take a holistic approach. Sorry I am unable to pa...

1 Corinthians 13: If I speak in the tongues[a] of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothi...
