I thought my original question was if an imaginary unrepentant was saved, not could be save. An unrepentant sinner, who repents, can be saved. Sorry, yes it was whether he WAS [and IS] saved. I added the caveat that only if he genuinely believed and wasn't just lying. Poor choice of words on my part.

Nope, not 'will' be saved, but 'may' be saved: KJV 5 To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that the spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord Jesus. NASB 5 I have decided to deliver such a one to Satan for the destruction of his flesh, so that his spirit may be saved ...

Well done FFC. What we have here now, is one persons explanation of the meaning behind a passage posted by another. It seems very reasonable to me, that the passage is not talking about the saved vs the undaved but instead about spreading the good news. See how this adds to the conversation Kerux? W...

These rules like: Don't RE-post a scripture, without explanation or interpretation, in the same thread that it's already posted, esspecially when the original reference was examined and shown to support an entirely contradictory assertion. Well, these rules are not phariseeism so much as they are co...

Hmmm... Well my understanding is that this Earth indeed will pass away. According to Revelation 21:1-3: Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heave...

I imagined there were other people involved in the conversation. Let me just say that from an impartial observer perspective, I don't feel that Kerux has provided adequate biblical evidence for his position. On Aug 4 at 8:00 pm, he lists a number of verses which extol one to repent. Jac then posted...

Because it was a conclusion based on deductive reasoning it was guaranteed to be true IF AND ONLY IF the theory is true. Using the Modus Tollens form of the argument we have disproven the theory. This is correct. Remember that the statement A->B may or may not be true in and of itself. Only if we k...

I don't think that SR and GR reflect the true nature of things. I think it is clear that an extraordinary math genius came up with some models that in part reflect the nature of things. True, and currently all we know that Relativity is very good but not perfect, and we don't know how far off it is...

Last time I spoke up about String Theory, the Theory of Everything, and parallel universes you hacked me apart BGood. :D LOL All of the stuff I say on all this is certainly just my understanding and given the depth of these subjects I can always stand to be corrected when I make statements about the...
