Re: Evolutionary "Transition Forms?" Definitions are Key!
Phillip, there are plenty of transitional fossils, studies etc, please have a look at the articles on this link, in detail. http://darwiniana.org/transitionals.htm I have said it before and I would again, reasons.org is not a very good source when it comes to evolutionary biology. Some of their art...

Re: Evolutionary "Transition Forms?" Definitions are Key!
Why, because propagation rates and stressors all play a role on the rate by which one evolves relative to another? But when it's something like where birds come from, we have a known timeline. For instance, you squirrel to bat example. Suppose we found a fossil for a bat that was 50 years old. A fo...

Re: Evolutionary "Transition Forms?" Definitions are Key!
Nice story, but that's just an extreme example of speciation. Like a black squirrel vs a brown, or what ever. That's far from a transitional form. We would expect to see much larger populations of intermediates along the way. Your example doesn't negate the time paradox either. It only goes to show...

Re: Evolutionary "Transition Forms?" Definitions are Key!
#1. We must understand that speciation can not and will not occur without an environmental "stressor" leading to population dwindle that begins favoring characteristics. A species doesn't just spontaneously change for no other reason than mutation... That's just simple logic, random mutat...

Re: Chimpanzee language
Thanks for posting. I read or heard about this somewhere a few days ago. I was dissappointed that Dr. Hobaiter would jump to such a conclusion. It seems his worldview is pushing him to "fill a gap" in our understanding. Of course, from my perspective there is no gap to fill. Symbolism sepa...

Re: What would have happened had Adam never sinned?
Kenny, I think your question assumes Adam and Eve would have lived forever. First there's the question of "would have they?". This is debatable. Some say yes, some say no. Some say if they act from the tree of life, then they would have lived forever, etc. Then there's the question of &quo...

Re: A Question about Adam and Eve
I've heard this question many times and never understood the concern, as has been shown. Personally I favour the non-evolution answer that Jac pointed towards. Seems to me only several members of Adams family were named.

Re: Multiverse- A replacement for God
Hi Silvertusk, Sorry, I didn't pay attention to the date or your comment, March 17th. I thought you were referring ideas (pre-march 17th) about the patterns in the radiation that indicate a multiverse. Hot and cold spots that suggest universes colliding into each other. I think THAT idea is dead. So...

Re: Multiverse- A replacement for God
The latest discovery on March 17th of a pattern in the microwave background gave good evidence that there was a rapid inflationary period in the early stages of the universe. Apparently that opens the door for multiverse models. (Really dont know how). Sorry my memory is a little foggy, so this is ...

Re: Uncaused first cause
Bravo Kenny. You caught me making a mistake and were able to make that the point of your post. Yes, the Big Bang is not a thing, its a description of the beginning of the universe. You're correct. That doesn't change what I said. Your beliefs are falsified. See Daniels post for your explanation why ...

Re: What’s the worst that could happen?
Unfortunately I think this might be the case. Kenny has shut himself out from the truth. I hope not, but he certainly doesn't accept some fairly basic explanations. And yet he believes in some big bang theories that are entirely against the grain of modern thinking. Really??? And what modern thinki...

ryanbouma Kenny, your posts make my head hurt. It's like you're not willing to thinking beyond the letters that forma sentence. Try to be more flexible and self critical. Sorry I post and dash. Busy days for me. Here's some things I suggest. If you're not willing to accept modern cosmology and the ...

Re: What’s the worst that could happen?
Kenny, Every one of your illogical assertions has been explained to you. If you're not going to pay attention and take these conversations seriously, what's the point? And each time I pointed out the flaws in the explanations. thus my point still stands. Now if you want to try again; feel free. Ken...

Re: Uncaused first cause
Wait a minute, you present an eternal singularity, something no modern scientist agrees with (that I know of). These fine people present the big bang, something accepted widespread by modern scientists. And you think they haven't presented something backed up by modern scientists? Ouch.... Try again...
