Re: Genesis Creation vs. Darwin's Macroevolution Myth
Alter 2 EGO...PLEASE READ THIS PAPER AND LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU THINK. Nothing in Biology Makes Sense Except in the Light of Evolution is an essay by the evolutionary biologist Theodosius Dobzhansky. And dude, its hard to read your posts in many colors, try a single color. ALTER2EGO -to- NEO-X: I don...

Re: Genesis Creation vs. Darwin's Macroevolution Myth
ALTER2EGO -to- SON OF ALETHEIA: The fossils you listed are of creatures that are entirely different from one another. You quoted from pro-evolution scientists who looked at similarities in fossils, despite the fact they have no way of connecting the various creatures with one another. They consiste...

Re: Genesis Creation vs. Darwin's Macroevolution Myth
I've listed numerous fossils (many of which have been found within the past 10 years). All of which fit perfectly with what evolution has to say. The dating, the attributes/forms of the transitional fossils, and more. ALTER2EGO -to- SON OF ALETHEIA: The fossils you listed are of creatures that are ...

Re: Genesis Creation vs. Darwin's Macroevolution Myth
In fact the quotations refer to quite different evolutionary scales, which it is important not to conflate. Eldredge's quotation about the lack of a gradual sequence of fossils between major groups is from a book which describes many of the transitional fossils you deny exist. His point, as I have ...

Re: Genesis Creation vs. Darwin's Macroevolution Myth
Anybody can go to the papers that I quoted from and confirm that I quoted within context. That is not the case with pro-evolution skeptics and pro-evolution pagans. They routinely ignore context. Being a good evolutionist I have all the "papers" you quote from and can confirm that you did...

Re: Genesis Creation vs. Darwin's Macroevolution Myth
I cannot imagine why you are surprised that I returned to my thread. I debate at several other websites. I also have a life off-line, in the real world. So I do not have the time to come here every single day. I'm surprised because in my experience it's quite rare for creationists to want to discus...

Re: Genesis Creation vs. Darwin's Macroevolution Myth
No matter. The context is easy to explain, and it becomes clear that Eldredge and Gould in no way support a creationist position . Their point is that for thousands of generations a species remains fairly stable, adapted to its surroundings, but that when its environment changes suddenly, or a grou...

Re: Genesis Creation vs. Darwin's Macroevolution Myth
You know this is not how debate works. This is not even how we find truth. You can't just go google searching for quotes that support your position and then copy-paste them and expect to win an argument. ALTER2EGO -to- SON OF ALETHEIA: So it is okay for you and other members of the Religion of Athe...

Re: Genesis Creation vs. Darwin's Macroevolution Myth
So if I start quoting from the 95%+ of scientist who believe in evolution will you be convinced? You seem to think that you quoting from arbitrary scientists from 15-50 years ago will change our minds and defeat the evidence we show. ALTER2EGO -to- SON OF ALETHEIA: What is this? A popularity contes...

Re: Genesis Creation vs. Darwin's Macroevolution Myth
Why did you completely ignore the transitional fossils I've shown you? That was the majority of my post and you just talked about me questioning a 50 year old quote. ALTER2EGO -to- SON OF ALETHEIA: I said far more than that. I provided a quotation from 2001 in which Ernst Mayr, an avid pro-evolutio...

ALTER2EGO -to- SON OF ALETHEIA: 1. "There is no need to apologize any longer for the poverty of the fossil record. In some ways it has become almost unmanageably rich, and discovery is out-pacing integration...The fossil record nevertheless continues to be composed mainly of gaps." (Georg...

Re: Genesis Creation vs. Darwin's Macroevolution Myth
Actually you don't even need fossils, just look at the DNA evolving. ALTER2EGO -to- NEO-X: Of course the pro-evolution community does not "need" fossils. You can't need what does not exist. That's why fossils are not "needed." How convenient. BTW: DNA does not prove evolution th...

Re: Genesis Creation vs. Darwin's Macroevolution Myth
Seems the issue is the whole "macro vs micro" evolution thing. It should be noted that evolutionary biologist don't really use the term "macro evolution" that much ( if at all). Basically, the lay-persons definition of macro evolution tends to be quite different than that of EB....
