Um..no. I was just expressing an opinion on the pod cast.

15-20 of waffling talk is not exactly a great way to make a point. ;)

Very much cheers to all.

Re: Ancient fish face shows roots of modern jaw

It's interesting that the gentleman spends 15 of his 30 minutes discussing evolution, though. Very much cheers to all. :swhat: ? Huh ? The first 15 minutes the guy is there explaining how everything fits as far as evolution is concerned. Frankly? I kind of gave up after listening for 20 minutes and...

Re: There are clear iq and physical differences between race

I'm just saying evolution, taken to its logical conclusion, promotes racism. I don't think the conclusion you are drawing is logical. It's a conclusion, certainly, but it's far from the only conclusion one could draw and it's further still from logical. Perci, You may be correct. I'm going to look ...

Re: The Gospels

Oh..okay that all makes....* Blinks *....* TIlts head * Wait a minute! First not all apostles wrote gospels. Um, pardon? Are you saying here that not all the Apostle's were literate? Yeah, I can understand/agree with this. However...that their words/ideas/thoughts/experiences wouldn't be written dow...

Re: Eyeless fish disprove intelligent design?

If Adam is allegorical, and by his comparison to Christ, that means Christ is allegorical too. If Adam symbolizes humanity in some way, maybe Christ is just a symbol too. And sin is just a metaphor, and there's really no need for a savior. Works quite well for me. :D While I am partly 'Tongue in ch...

Re: The Gospels

Thanks for the reply...but...that doesn't really help. I mean...Are you saying those four Apostles were more authentic than the other eight? Or that there were twelve Apostles, who may or may not have written anything...but only four were used and the others were just, y'know, floating around as a g...

The Gospels

First, I do apologize if this is in the wrong forum, but I'm not really sure where to place ny question.

Said question is this:

Why are there four Gospels?

There were twelve Apostles.

Only four have been passed on.

Links and such appreciated. :)

Wishing every one all the very best.

Re: Eyeless fish disprove intelligent design?

* Raises hand * Um, while I have read this thread through from the beginning I must admit I've become a little lost as towards people's thinking on the matter of the 'Eyeless fish'. I would have thought that the theory of evolution did a good job of making sense of eyeless fish? I thought it was the...

Re: Out of the Debate (Interviewing Non-belief)

Hello. :) Here are some of my quick, pretty much of the top of my head replies to your question (As I've said before I place my self on the Atheist end of a sliding Agnostic scale) 1)How do you live your lives without God (or gods)? Quite easily, to be honest. 2)What do you hold of most value that w...

*Raises hand*

Okay...as one of the A-A (Agnostic-Atheists) currently toddling around on this forum, I'll bite.

Which part of your initial, large opening post do you want to start with to tackle a conversation between our-selves?

Very much cheers to you and yours.

Re: Fruit bearing plants before dinosaurs?

* Raises hand * I'm happy to say/go that the theory of evolution is pretty damn good/solid. * Check to see if they need to put on that dratted uniform * ;) To Jac3510, Except that isn't what's been happening with the development of things when it comes to evolution (And the theory there of). Very mu...
