The Power of Mankind
Look up into the night sky, what do you feel. A sense of being small? A sense of inferiority? Perhaps a sense of dread? When looking up at distant celestial objects, we often see the massive power or size that these objects possess. A star keeps its planets with a pull akin to a leash. A planet tugs...

Quantum mechanics debunks god?
According to quantum mechanics matter doesn't exist independent of observation but rather as a spread out wave of probabilities of where it could be. If god is a conscious observer then the same rules should apply. However if god in all of his omniscience were to observe everything in the universe t...

Does the bible claim hell is at the center of the earth?
Matthew 12:40 describes how jesus spends 3 days in hell, however it also describes it as being in the heart of the earth. How could we possibly reconcile this verse with what we now know about the earth without distorting its words?

Re: Eyeless fish disprove intelligent design?
How could you possibly reconcile a belief in human evolution with what the bible says about Adam and Eve, if you want to make them allegory Neo you need to provide evidence the bible treats them as so, this is one extremely difficult problem for theistic evolutionists that I think needs to be addres...

Re: Eyeless fish disprove intelligent design?
One thing that does confuse me is if we have the bones of some of the earliest humans does that mean that we originated from several thousand people?

Re: Eyeless fish disprove intelligent design?
I agree Rick I can't look at the scriptures and say that Adam and Eve were simply allegorical figures, it just doesn't match what the evidence tells me.

Re: Eyeless fish disprove intelligent design?
I see this problem as a serious one. We need answers to these questions if we are going to justify evolution in the Christian worldview. Another problem I see is that the bible says God rested on the 7th day, however evolution states animals never stop evolving if this is true I see no reason why ev...

Re: Eyeless fish disprove intelligent design?
Mallz I see a profound problem with theistic evolution especially when it comes to the creation of Adam and Eve, are we supposed to interpret them as allegorical figures that never existed? The bible treats them as real people throughout the bible however evolution states that humanity originated fr...

Eyeless fish disprove intelligent design?
Some fish that live in caves have rudimentary eyes or no eyes at all. The eyes that some cave dwelling fish have are barely functioning at all, this could imply that they are vestigial organs left over from some form of convergent evolution. This wouldn't bother me that much if the fish didn't have ...

Prophecy of tyre fulfilled?
I was wondering if the last part to the prophecy of Tyre was fulfilled, the bible says that it will never be rebuilt but there is clearly a city there right now ( with the tyre ruins of course). I was just wondering if the Tyre ruins are the fulfillment of prophecy. Why isn't the whole city destroyed?
