Re: Evolutionary "Transition Forms?" Definitions are Key!

Supposedly, birds evolved from dinosaurs. So you've got the very bird-like Deinonychus appearing at approximately 120 million years ago. But then Archaeopteryx, a supposed transitional form between dinosaurs and birds, is dated at 155 million years old - a full 35 million years OLDER than the much ...

Re: It’s history, not science

Do you suppose if the universe is a perpetual form/reflection of the infinite and eternal, that there would be any question how intellect would develop and the exact characteristics necessary in order to develop it? Yet some are so hell bent on proving a belief because someone along the way claimed ...

Re: It’s history, not science

It is human nature to desire to feel special, important... That God made all of this just for man...... Why not suggest we are a part of something infinite in expanse, that we a part of it's fiber? That certainly is a focal brilliance that allows you to let go of that ego of self, and by all intents...

Re: It’s history, not science

We have this observable brilliance where mass is concerned.... Mass can neither be created nor destroyed, mass is and has always been.... This threatens creationist ideas where genesis is concerned, but simple logic also makes eternal nothingness a rather absurd state in light of all the "creat...

Re: Evolutionary "Transition Forms?" Definitions are Key!

I'll repeat very clearly so there is no mistake.... There can be no physical change in a species without selective properties and there are no selective properties from a population that remains constant.

Re: It’s history, not science

Is the mind able to grasp the idea of nothingness before God created something?
Is the mind able to grasp the eternal, that it was eternal nothingness before doing so?

Re: It’s history, not science

We of course could have a discussion about Adam and Eve having children and then what? Well apparently brothers and sisters got together, then cousins? We could also have a discussion about God and eternal darkness before he created light... saw that it was good.... Wait, did he create his own eyes...

Re: Evolutionary "Transition Forms?" Definitions are Key!

Nice story, but that's just an extreme example of speciation. Like a black squirrel vs a brown, or what ever. That's far from a transitional form. We would expect to see much larger populations of intermediates along the way. Your example doesn't negate the time paradox either. It only goes to show...

Re: Evolutionary "Transition Forms?" Definitions are Key!

Paul, there is not a brand of evolution - be it theistic, whatever neo-darwinist hybrids, I've read them all. And, YES, God COULD have easily solved the obviously HUGE problems with UNGUIDED evolution. But the problem is, DID He? The fossil record would suggest NOT, as the various temporal paradoxe...

Re: What would God say if he came here and why.

I recall somewhere reading that you have claimed to be a physicist? What you are describing is a closed ('finite' by specific dimension) universe.... The most elementary dynamic and the very definition of a closed universe is that it must stop expanding at some point in time..... It doesn't just fr...

Re: What would God say if he came here and why.

I think curvature is pretty basic where mass and gravity is concerned, but I don’t think you understand the basics concerning the dynamic or temporal properties by which it has been theorized. Basics concerning the dynamic or temporal properties by which curvature has been theorized? Please, enligh...

I will say to inform you that I did not understand half of your post. I tried but either you weren't clear or ... However in some post of yours back several pages you wrote Everywhere I search this observable world, I am dumbstruck by the brilliance and perfection of it. What is brilliant and perfe...

Re: What would God say if he came here and why.

It was a question, kind of introductory one to start some talk on science. But, i looked back many pages in this thread and found that Byblos tried to talk with you about science, physics and was not succesful. And I very much agree with this, every attempt by Byblos to talk about science or physic...
