Re: Reconciling the John 3 with John 6
I don't see a problem. His blood was spilled and his flesh was torn on the cross. To "Drink" his blood and "Eat" his flesh is to receive the fruits of crucifixion. Its kind of like drinking living water, we don't actually drink water.
Just my 2 cents.
Just my 2 cents.

"Atheists try to use to science to prove that God doesn't exist. Science accidently proves that atheism doesn't exist."

Just because the stars are numbered doesn't mean they can't die. The bible says the hairs on my head are numbered, yet, I use Rogaine.

Re: QUESTION: Proof of God, Time Travel, or Tumor?
He said he wrote it down, so I assuming the only characteristics he listed are the ones written down. Hey, C.C, is this an accurate assumption?

What kind of proof are looking for exactly? I'm not trying to be snarky, but no two people have the same idea as to what kind of confirmation they want.

Well, I know he's in Basic Training Phase 1. What he plans beyond that, I don't know.BW wrote:Okay, prayers sent forth...
Is he in the paratroops?
@Lonewolf
As long as you're praying for him to get better I'm happy.

Injured Recruit
Hi, first time posting a thread on this part of the forum. I figure I should pass on a prayer request I received today. A friend of mine has a little brother who joined the army, and is currently a recruit in training. Or he's supposed to be. He got hurt during training and has some stress fractures...

Re: Quick answers about Bible
I was reading John recently and I came to a question: Were any of the Apostles known to be illiterate? There was a scene where Jesus reading was seen as miraculous which got me to thinking, not all were from an educated social class and not everyone was literate at the time. What percentage do you t...

Post Resurrection PDA
John 20:17 Jesus clearly tells Mary that she isn’t to touch him because he hasn’t risen to be with the Father. (One or two interpretations is more along the time of “stop touching”, but even if that is more accurate it doesn’t change the question) John 21:20 An Apostle is mentioned to be leaning on ...

Re: Did God come to earth in the flesh?
You never did get back to me, Dom, so I'll ask you one of my two questions again. Dom, how do you decide what you think is inspired by God and what do you think isn't? I ask because before you've mentioned that you do not believe the letters of Paul were inspired by God. Yet, so far, the main thing...

Re: Evolutionary "Transition Forms?" Definitions are Key!
Supposedly, birds evolved from dinosaurs. So you've got the very bird-like Deinonychus appearing at approximately 120 million years ago. But then Archaeopteryx, a supposed transitional form between dinosaurs and birds, is dated at 155 million years old - a full 35 million years OLDER than the much ...
