Not to mention the fact that Id need the biggest egghead dictionary in the world to make much sense of it. Thank t...

Why do YOU believe Christianity is true? The two arguments above are the most common, but I'm curious why you believe Christianity is true? I won't ridicule it or anything, regardless of what reason you believe. I'm just curious. Phew! You asked a lot of darn good questions! I can't wait to read so...

I have heard some speak of this as an administrative subjection. In much the same way that the wife VOLUNTARILY submits to the leadership of a GODLY husband even though they are both equal. One needs to be a leader or there may be chaos. But that starts a whole new discussion, on which I had not pl...

I can see what he is trying to say but I'm not convinced that he has provided a good enough argument that Christ has given up His "equality with Diety"...whatever that means.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever.

FFC wrote: It's got to be all God or nothing because their is too much that could go wrong in our flesh and our sinful nature to let it determine anything. Of course, no one is denying that. We are in disagreement as to the methods though. I believe God showed us the way and gave us the free gift o...

I think there is a great deal of popular application that to me smacks of hucksterism and carnival sideshows.
I think the same can be said of some church services.

When I read 2 Peter 2:20 "And when people escape from the wicked ways of the world by learning about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and then get tangled up with sin and become its slave again, they are worse off than before." and look at the context and try to understand the point that'...

Oh my. I read all this stuff you guys write and it literally makes my head spin. :? I feel like the disciples who asked Jesus, "who then can be saved?" God saves us by His grace and God keeps us by His grace. I don't know what to say about the person who says they were once saved, born aga...

I tell you the truth, he who believes has everlasting life ~ Jesus (John 6:47)

I tread lightly when I say this, considering all the different nuances of theology that floats around here :), but from all I have heard Lee Strobel is pretty solid in his biblical research. Here is a little bio from Wikipedia: Strobel earned a journalism degree from the University of Missouri and a...

My question to you who say that works prove our salvation is where do we draw the line? We all fall into sin at times, that's why we have an advocate with the Father. We all have times when we get angry at God and have to force ourselves to go through the motions like the son in the parable that sai...

The greatest way to receive the power of God in your life is to give it away as fast as you receive it. The more you release His power into others the greater you increase the power in your life.
Thank you, Led. God is truly teaching me this right now and you confirmed it.
