Re: Separation or Annihilation?

Fact is, there is peace in annihilation by going into a state of nothingness that actually means that the wicked and rebellions, do indeed get away with their works and deeds. Nothing at all terrifying about that, is there? One most certainly can exploit that and justify sinning… However, never end...

Re: Separation or Annihilation?

In the G and S main cover pages, you'll find the article titled "What Will Hell be Like?" by Rich Deem, in which he writes "It is possible that hell will involve both torment (until the day of judgment) and eventual destruction." based on scripture such as.. Psalms 92:7, Matthew ...

Re: Are we self indulgent when giving our testimony?

I wonder how many times the apostle Paul gave testimony of his conversion, and how much he elaborated on that conversion?

Re: Separation or Annihilation?

Annihilation can be considered eternal, right? If you cease to take part in life and you are consumed by your sins in the fire, are you not eternally punished? I do believe there is clear scripture that speaks on the punishement and rewards for sin, both in this world and in the coming judgement., y...

Re: Please explain legalism?

I believe also that we need to include that a person who believes the gospel, repents and be baptized, and then afterwards begins to act in that faith to the point where it then becomes legalistic by trying to observe God's law, that does not mean that that person is no longer in Christ or hasn't be...

Re: Would space aliens go to hell?

There isn't any space aliens., i don't doubt that there is other life besides us here on earth., angels and so forth., but as to other beings living in other planets and such, hell no, that's just sci-fi., you would have to re-write the story of the Bible in order to include such beings and how God ...

Rather, fear him who is able to destroy both soul and body in Gehenna.' ^ ^ ^ Reads to me like the the soul can be destroyed., if a soul could not be killed, why would there be cherubin placed at the entrance to the gard...

Re: Luke 16:19-31

..Now, you have to ask yourself first, when YOU read it, what does it mean to YOU? Are we self indulgent when giving our testimony?

When one becomes a new creature in the Lord, one wants to pass it on., we want the whole world to know., we want everyone to experience the truth which has come into our life and given us peace.. All we so-called born-again Christians go through that phase., but then, as the years and experiences an...
