Re: Visiting people you don't know

...So I wonder, whatever happened to the church being the light of the world? The lamp that is not to be placed under the table? Is the church afraid of being rejected and having the door shut on them? That is a question with a complex answers and reasons. So here is some food for thought: -Some Ch...

Re: Is baptism a condition of salvation?

Baptism for me, at the time of my "believing" was not a matter of "having to do" ., it was however, a sign for me to start living contrary to what I had been living without Christ., I expected the Holy Spirit to descent upon me, not as it did upon Christ, but surely as a believe...

Re: Wickedness in High Places

In Herod Antipas times, the big G was there., watching everybody do their daily work., and he reaped and made sure that he got a cut off of everything., up to a third of everything., he had spies among the people and a network that allowed him to stay healthy., mighty mighty., he had not only to ple...

Re: Separation or Annihilation?

I read and I tremble of "judgement" ., for there is a judgement coming upon all man., I fear it, because I am human, and without that fear of God in me, I am sure I would sin left and right without regards., as it is, I sin every day., there's not a day that I don't deserve to be judged an...

Re: The Fall of Man & The Fall of Fallen Angels

I'm going to put here, Stars comment from a diff topic altogether, because I think it sheds light on this my own questions posed., so this is basically for my reference only, unless of course it can be useful to any of you if you care to reply to the posted forum topic. The Fall of Man & The Fall of Fallen Angels

Did the fall of man (Adam's sin) and the fall of Lucifer and the fallen angels, did it occur right about the same time, or was there an age old interlude between one event and the other? If the rebellion started in heaven, and the fallen angels where cast down to earth, why then build a garden and p...

Re: Separation or Annihilation?

One of the great difficulties with the popular view of final punishment or hell is the profound silence of the Old Testament. Everywhere we find God warning sinners to repent. He threatens judgment for disobedience and carries it out on many occasions. But the idea of endless torture after death is ...

Re: Welcome to Baja

Back to the topic question.. I have a lot of various answers so far, some good and some not so good. It just surprises me that Christians can be reading the Bible but have different answers for the same question. As far as "idols", it only is idolatry if a person worships the object itself...

Re: Separation or Annihilation?

Since fire is symbolically used throughout scripture, could not the descriptions of hell be so, as well?

Re: Responding to rastafarians

Rastas are a trip., you can't talk to them like you would any ordinary religious person for they are outside the establishment system of religious tought., Bob Marley summarized the rasta mind in with these lyrics.. Most people think great God will come from the sky Take away everything, and make ev...
