Thanks for that B.W.
I'll put his books on the extremely-low-priority list of things to read.

Faith AND Charity - What is this man saying ?
Would anyone care to interpret this quote and comment on its validity ? "It is very evident from their Epistles that it never entered the mind of any of the Apostles that the church of this day would separate faith from charity by teaching that faith alone justifies and saves apart from the wor...

Re: Must Jesus be God..
Don't forget B.W.'s short thread ...."Basic Theology: Jesus is God"

Re: Must Jesus be God..
I detect a subtle note of discontent in this thread. Allow me to interject with an allegory...... There was a father who owned a large mansion. The father had many children that were living in that mansion. Oh no ! the kids are out of control and trash the mansion ! They do many millions of dollars ...

Re: Jehovah witnesses
Yes, they are preaching some serious blasphemy at times. Without the HS there is NO belief in Christ. Their obsession with 1914 is based on their doctrine that Christ HAS returned invisibility already and that we are in the End of Days already. edit: removed a bit of ranting. I remembered that we a...

Ok, I will put "the gospel of Jesus" on the low priority list of stuff to read along with the other ~1,900 or so other books on my low priority reading list.

Gospel of Jesus - cross referenced from 3 sources
After reading it a bit, it does not sound like Jesus from the gospels in the new testament but more of a spiritual text. "Thus we have three distinct copies of this scripture attested from three separate ancient sources, two in Coptic, one in Greek." Check it out here .... http://gnosis.or...

Re: Is it possible to get to heaven without help from the So
Moses and Elijah comes to mind. Did they know about the God-the-Son and got his help.
Sorry, I'm not much of an expert on the old testament stuff.

Is it possible to get to heaven without help from the Son ?
I would probably say 'not a chance'. But are there, or have there been any exceptions ? After all, we got ourselves into this mess. Is it possible to get ourselves out ?

Re: Which is the best Bible translation..
I found that the Ancient Greek Literal Translation cuts out the middle man's interpretation but this also makes it harder to read.
But I always refer to it when I need to get to the bottom of things (so-to-speak).

Re: The Pro' and Con's of Having Exorbitant amounts of Money
Anyway, I'm more interested in the reason why Jesus made that statement about the camel going through the eye of the needle. Hamster, partly it is because, in many ways, a wealthy man FEELS self-sufficient and is far less likely to depend upon the Lord or to sense his need of Him. The wealthy often...
