Re: The best argument for atheism
But isn't it unscientific to say that only what we can grasp or fathom or perceive is all that there is? Maybe it is, but if we used that method there would be an infinite amount of things you could claim existed outside of what we can grasp or perceive, but you'd have no good reason or no grounds ...

Re: The best argument for atheism
So how would you know if something existed outside of the capacity of the human brain? Good question...I don't know how to answer that. If there was some sort of link provided for knowing it, between the Maker and the human, then that would be the only way. But isn't it unscientific to say that onl...

Re: Slavery in the Bible
I've answered this question before but ill answer again, im seeking for someone to paint me a picture of their god, one that is consistent with what i read in the bible, because i could easily create my own version but if it contradicts the character in the bible then i might as well just throw the...

Re: What would have happened had Adam never sinned?
Outlaw: I make no claims about the origins of the universe I simply lack a belief in gods due to a lack of evidence. If you had evidence for your god you wouldn't require faith. The evidence could be tested and verified and measured. A lack of evidence? How about Exhibit A: THE UNIVERSE! A universe...

exodus 21:20-21 20"If a man strikes his male or female slave with a rod and he dies at his hand, he shall be punished. 21"If, however, he survives a day or two, no vengeance shall be taken; for he is his property.… Are these gods words? is the bible gods word or not? Those were God's rule...

That would be a measure of what christians perceive god has done for them.1over137 wrote:If you want to 'measure' what God does, go and ask Christians what he has done for them.
Just because you attribute things to something it doesn't prove that theres something actually there.

Re: The best argument for atheism
I totally agree with how atheists measure the world, take for instance your mind, you've never seen it, you've never touched it, heard it or tested in the laboratory, there has been no panel of nerds to agree and conclude that you even have one, no links on the internet, not in Wikipedia, no micros...
