Re: Yeah, Mr. Hawking passed away, and...
Do you bekieve physical laws were always here? "Psysical laws"? You mean laws as a thing or THE laws of physics? Either way, I'm not quite sure of my beliefs on who or what has always "been here", but...I for the most part believe that laws are the ultimate, ultimate thing that ...

Hey MBPrata y>:D< Been a while.... I know, right? :P I've been busy, I guess. You seem to be as friendly as I remember. Hope I'm not wrong... Okay science may not have proved God exists but it hasn't really proved He hasn't either, has it? Oh, sure, I agree. I am willing to believe both hypothesis,...

Re: Yeah, Mr. Hawking passed away, and...
As this is something he had no way of knowing, much less proving, why would his testimony be relevant? His testimony is only relevant to something he has knowledge of - in this case, he had ZERO knowledge to back up what he believed - not per examinable evidence - but per his own personal beliefs. ...

Re: Yeah, Mr. Hawking passed away, and...
I know Mr. Hawking didn't exactly prove - as in, with testable evidence - that the universe did not require a creator. He believed it, though, and that should be quite considered. Sure, belief doesn't equal truth, but considering both Mr. Hawking's IQ and area of expertise, I would say he was one of...

Yeah, Mr. Hawking passed away, and...
...and the "eternal" debate on God's existence will probably be on fire for a while. Because, naturally, a good ammount of agenda-seizing atheists will take the chance to praise the Pope of Atheism, Mr. Stephen Hawking. (don't get me wrong, I'm not saying he wanted to be a pope f...

Re: Will the world ever agree on Einstein's ~religion~?
I find it fascinating that Einstein claimed that he was not an atheist. Why is it that people who are not as smart as Einstein and certainly do not understand or grasp the incredible workings of the Universe as clearly as he did, would be so audacious as to claim they were atheists? Maybe because o...

Re: Will the world ever agree on Einstein's ~religion~?
That people care about what Einstein said on subjects besides physics probably has more to do with his celebrity status than any knowledge he had beyond physics. Not that much; I believe it has to do with that thing of Einstein having been one of the most brilliant human beings ever. I mean...if I ...

Will the world ever agree on Einstein's ~religion~?
Sometimes it seems really bizarre that a man who passed away not that long ago, when there were already quite developed forms of registers, that the registers are so contradictory. Even considering that people change their minds as the live (see Anthony Flew). We keep receiving data from tons of lin...

Re: Alright, i got a good question.
not all scientists agree with Stephen Hawking and there are competing ideas too. Oh, dear! You think I'm 10 years old or something?! Or 12? You think I don't know that? You think I believe every scientist agrees with mr. Hawking? Me, who keep showing you that every belief has someone else who doesn...

Re: Alright, i got a good question.
The modern atheist is someone that believes this is all there is and there is nothing else. That's racist! ;) Ok, seriously...not racist, but an abusive generalization (as are generalizations, by the way). That, I believe, is Victor Stenger's atheism. There are other types of atheisms, like Hawking...

if you are interested, I would like you to demonstrate/show me macroevolution. You believe in a God described in a book written thousands of years ago, in a time in which people couldn't distinguish reality from an ordinary hallucination caused by alien substances...and I am the one who have to dem...

Re: Atheist/non Christian
He created a reality where He is hidden and no matter what, will take a level of faith to believe in Him. Why? Ok, maybe. It's just that...if our "only" way to be His ambassateurs is through faith, then that makes it kind of needless/pointless for modern scientists to try to rationalize t...

Alrighty then. I apologize. Apology accepted. :) Why are you happy to go along with the universe just being? I never said I was happy. Heck, I met this website when I was passing through a depression! :? Do you really believe there is no God? Or just don't know? "Believe", I think,...
