Re: How God Creates
Assuming God is omnipotent, then God has the ability to spontaneously creates reality as he imagines it. The more interesting question is what creates God's thoughts in the first place. It's hard to imagine what our brain is doing between thougthts. I imagine God's brain has the same limitation. But...

Re: Doctrine of Hell
I read the bible and have already backed up myself with scripture, you can look over them again and meditate on them just don't read them metaphorically and take them literal.I do not want you to believe my opinion at all I want you to believe God's word. And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up ...

Re: Doctrine of Hell
Hi everyone! So, for about a year now I've been going through a bit of a crisis of faith/existential crisis. I constantly find myself struggling with such fun topics as: the existence of God, the purpose of existence, the inevitability of death, the question of Biblical infallibility, disconcerting...

Re: Theistic Evolution
All words are words of God. God is the creator of all things including all our words. What is more important? Cheerleading Jesus as your Lord and Savior of living your life according to his teachings? Most people treat their religion like their favorite NFL football team. If you are truly a person w...

Re: Evidence for theistic evolution
I would like to understand why Christians should accept it as I do not see evolution in the bible and do not see enough scientific evidence to even believe life evolves and I have looked however realize my perspective can be wrong so I would like to know why Christians should accept it. We do not s...

Re: Does Evolution and Science draw people away from God?
RE: Does Evolution and Science draw people away from God? Absolutely not. Religion needs to look into the mirror as to why people no longer find any value in it. Religion is no longer about making people's lives better. Religion is no longer about feeding the poor or helping people in need. Religion...

RE: "Saying this shows someone failed to understand the argument of the necessity of a first causer. Or prime mover, or principle cause. They aren't addressing the argument." Again, I am not an atheist. But being the devil's advocate for the sake of argument, I've heard it argued by atheis...

Re: Non-intelligent supreme X
RE: RE: "Since somethingness always existed" RE: "This is the first cause. Existence." Sorry to be argumentative and also I am not atheist. But the argument is somethingness always existed and there is no first cause. The argument made by the atheists is since we have no evidence...

RE: "Most atheists I know claim that the universe has blindly created and the thing is...their arguments are, for the most part, pretty logical. So I keep wobbling between theism and atheism..." There are two types of atheists. Ones who claim God does NOT exists. This is very easy to dismi...

Re: The Existence of God...
I am not sure there exists any "evidence" for the existence of God as a human-like person. But I am okay with it. I think the lack of evidence for God's existence just means we have to strengthen our faith in other ways. Evidence to me is something factual like the sky is blue. Here is an ...
