Re: Key Facts About Salvation many miss or overlook when it comes to Christianity.
RickD it is heresy to change the bible to what you wanted to say. Matthew 1:21 21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins. He's not saving them from the wages of there sin He's saving them from their sin. you can't take that v...

Re: Key Facts About Salvation many miss or overlook when it comes to Christianity.
Romans 10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved i have a hard time believing that if someone prays for God to say them they won't be saved. Maybe people will not call on the the name of the Lord if they're not being drawed but if a person calls upon the name of the lor...

Re: Once Saved, Always Saved - Not According to This Lady Who Went to Hell
if someone could explain it where i can understand it i have no problem believing it i'm not against once saved always saved. It just doesn't answer all the questions. for it to be right some other scriptures are inaccurate. but no scriptures are inaccurate they are all true.

Re: Once Saved, Always Saved - Not According to This Lady Who Went to Hell
this still doesn't explain how you can know you are saved if once saved always saved is true. You can not say you know by your heart cuz your hearts is the most deceitful thing in your body there is always a question of whether you're deceiving yourself or not. If that was the only way you could know...

Re: Once Saved, Always Saved - Not According to This Lady Who Went to Hell
when i'm reading though the comments i see so many contradictory statements. People are saying if you can lose your salvation you can't truly know if you were ever saved. That if you were saved and fell away you were never say to begin with. When in reality you couldn't know if you were saved if it ...

1st John 3:9-10 9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his bro...

Re: Eternal Security...(Revised May 2015)
RickD this part of the conversation isn't really directed at you. You have already stated that you believe that Paul was talking about someone that was saved. LittleHamster is trying to play both sides. LittleHamster is not wanting to admit if Paul is talking about a person that was saved or someone...

Re: Eternal Security...(Revised May 2015)
The sanctification Paul was talking about in this chapter was salvation. Lost people are not perfected. So the lost can not be sanctified in the blood of Jesus. So if someone is said to be sanctified by the blood of Jesus then they most be saved. Unsaved people can not be sanctified by the blood of ...

Re: Eternal Security...(Revised May 2015)
So sense we agree that Paul was talking about what happens to a person, if they sin willfully after they are saved. Then we must agree that Paul said that they were on there way to hell. Hebrews 10:27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation , which shall devour the adver...

Re: Eternal Security...(Revised May 2015)
I guess we are agreeing that Paul is referring to what happens to a believer if they sin willfully after they are saved.
Paul said they were sanctified by the blood of Jesus. Which to me according to that chapter says they were saved.
At lest we agree there.

Re: Eternal Security...(Revised May 2015)
That was a well thought out reply. There is still some mistakes in it. To be sanctified in the blood of Jesus is not the same as the husband and child being sanctified because of the wife. According to the sanctification in Hebrews 10 your sins were forgiven and you were made perfect. We know that t...

Romans 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey ; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness? Romans 6:17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine w...
