Re: Women given mammal status

At first I got excited too, thinking it was great my wife is actually a mammal. Much better than a reptilian spouse.

Re: False Catholic Mary doctrine

I've heard many times from RC people that we don't worship Mary but venerate her. But all the practices I see certainly indicate they do worship her. From praying to Mary to elevation to co-redeemer to the prominent feature in RC artwork. I didn't pick up on this until recent years that their artwor...

Re: Jewish Roots Movement

Rabbi Joseph Shulam (Messianic Jew) speaks directly about the HRM types at 25:00 in this lecture. Overall I found his lecture interesting and learned a few things like paying attention to the pronouns Paul uses. Also, around the 26:40 he states specifically (using Paul) WHY you should not try to con...

Re: Do you know about the Trail of Tears? (google it if need be)

Its impossible to answer the question. But I think there would have been more war between native Indians and white settlers if the Indian population had not been moved west. Just knowing people and history there comes a point where you assimilate with the new population or you tolerate it to a point...

Re: Russia Claims the Whitehouse Defends ISIS

Plus "O"'s family ties to the Muslim Brotherhood which is a terror sponsor, but somehow got fast tracked into being accepted as non-profit organization by the "O" Administration.

If this where a court case it would be beyond reasonable doubt where the heart of "O" is.

Re: The US bombs Syrian forces

Just recently the Syrian Army was attacking Kurds, who we are supporting, instead of ISIS or any of the "rebel" groups. The whole area is a giant can of worms with alliances that change with the wind. You certainly can't trust anyone there except probably the Kurds. A good place to stay ou...

Re: Barack Obama Full Speech at 71st UN General Assembly 2016

One thing that has irked me for a long time is conservative talk hosts, like Hannity, kept going on and on about stupid "O" is. Totally wrong and off focus. "O" is fairly intelligent at least of average IQ if not a bit higher and I mean this sincerely. Everything he has done he k...

Re: Cow flatulence regulated in California

Vegetarianism kills. My evidence? Adolf Hitler. Case closed!! Plus he had flatulence so bad he had to take pills for it. He also hated smoking with a passion. So therefore, one can conclude that vegetarianism + tobacco-free = megalomania which leads to genocide. While veggies may appear nice on the ...

Re: Digital Unwrapping Of Oldest Known OT Scripture

And I didn't know about the Australian eagle either! To see in IR and UV is incredible. :eugeek: Will have to research it as the Bald Eagle is pretty impressive bird. ;) On the mask story I'd forgotten about it until now. So a little searching and picked a couple links. Was curious if Dr. Evans had ...

Musical instruments are heresy ..... say what?

I wasn't sure if I should tack this onto the other music related thread but it seemed to require a thread of it's own for discussion. The more I read and thought, the more I felt compelled to post this. Years ago I read that Calvin had banished all music from worship services, based on as I understa...

Re: Digital Unwrapping Of Oldest Known OT Scripture

Fascinating story and topic. Infra-red photography is the pinnacle of tech in the forensic photo arena, but it is cumbersome, touchy and very time consuming. It is so fascinating to bring "hidden" details to light. :eugeek: When our lab got a digital Ricoh IR SLR camera I thought we'd leap...

Re: Surprising jump in numbers in Bible study class

Sioux Falls, SD The leaders and pastor really emphasized to the experienced members to take the step up to lead. I believe there will be members who respond to the call. Just my sense of the group. Even though I'm not officially in the program they gave me Week 2 handout/study guide. It looks like a...

Surprising jump in numbers in Bible study class

This past Monday I went to a new-to-me Bible study, a national/international Bible study program called Bible Study Fellowship . B.W. recommended it to me as I was looking for a good in-depth program. I'd taken a "fast track" course at our church and although I learned a lot it didn't get ...

The leopard will not change her spots. It'd be like if the Gambino Family would be given the Executive Branch except they have more likeable personalities. She has an obvious venomous hatred of the constraints of law or morality. She's already said us Christians need to change and get with the times...

Re: How is it possible that none of Jesus' bones were broken

I've been studying the Roman Empire's history more in-depth after learning of my ancestor's probable involvement with the Praetorian Guard and cavalry units for the legions. The Romans were a real Jekyll and Hyde bunch, building incredible structures on one hand but using that same ingenuity to tort...
