Re: Ignorance of the Bible

On another (sad) note I remember a cable news article stating a poll among Christians indicated that practicing Christians of all denominations read on the average less than one chapter a month from The Bible. One chapter a month??? I'm surprised it's that much! They must've lied to the pollsters.....

Re: Saved... An easy way out?

but many born-again Christians include Catholics and Orthodox Christians into the "un-saved" category (which means they aren't going to heaven I guess). As long as all Christians are considered Christians, you are entitled to your opinion on the other religions. I don't agree that all of ...

Re: Worldwide Church of God

Hi Fürstentum Liechtenstein - so you were an atheist at one time - so was I long ago - what made you turn around and see the light? Here is the short answer: I used to be a theif and a con man...and a womanizer, just like my father before me, and his father. (But more discreet and more successful t...

Re: Near Death Experiences?

Maybe a Roman Catholic can answer better than I can. The RC's I know of do not talk with saints or pray to them as the movies make out. I heard many RC priests say the opposite — You pray to Jesus to make you like Saint Joseph and have the same carpentry knowledge as he and not to St Joe himself. A...
