Re: Do Reformed Christians Need to Embrace Six-Day Creation?
Sometimes I sense a little bit of latent hostility toward my presence on this board, although not from everyone here. I could be misinterpreting signals, but this doesn't seem like the friendliest place for discussion, or at least not for me. Just sayin'.

Re: Do Reformed Christians Need to Embrace Six-Day Creation?
My response to Thomas Purifoy's recent article: https://oldearthcreationism.wordpress.com/2018/02/21/do-reformed-christians-need-to-embrace-six-day-creation/ Just curious, why did you single out Reformed Christians in your question? Good question; the title of Purifoy's article is similar, and, alt...

John H. Walton said what about concordism?
An article written as a rebuttal to John H. Walton views on concordism/day-age creationism in his book, The Lost World of Genesis One. What do you think?

Re: Noah's Flood: when did it occur?
What books or writers inspired you to become an OEC? I think the first book that inspired me was A Biblical Case For An Old Earth , by David Snoke. And believe it or not, when I reread The Genesis Flood , by Henry Morris, it got me to study OEC more, because I saw how Morris misrepresented what Old...

Re: Noah's Flood: when did it occur?
Why 300,000 years ago? I'm interested in how you came to that conclusion. The evidence that the modern races came and started spreading around 50-90K, our subspecies started at about 200K, and the fact that the Neanderthal and Denisovan subspecies mixed with some of our races would indicate they're...

I used to be a YEC, too, until the mid-2000's.

Noah's Flood: when did it occur?
Here is my current theory about when Noah's Flood might have occurred. I determined a rough date based on archaeological and agricultural evidences (or lack thereof) between 10,000 and 23,000 years ago, with references to the curse God put on the ground after Adam's sin (and the lifting of the curse...

Re: Please Introduce Yourself Here
Hello, my name is Jason, and I've been a Christian for many years. I've also been an old-earth creationist (day-age) since the mid-2000's. I enjoy Rich Deem's God and Science page and wanted to drop in and post a few things and learn some new stuff and meet some new people. :-) Old Earth Creationism...
