Hi, I got this from a friend of mine the other day. I'm not sure where he got it from. He listens to a group called the "Sheperd's Chapel"a lot, perhaps he got it from them. Second, while I know you are not purposely introducing it, this type of interpretation is often times introduced by ...

A different creation account

I was just wondering. I heard a really neat interpretation the other day about the creation of man and the book of Genesis. It goes like this (perhaps it is somewhere on this web site also), God creates mankind on earth in Gen 1:26, the asians, the africans, europeans, etc... But then when he get's ...

Hi Bluesman.. Ok, thanks. Sometimes it's hard to tell what a person is saying by typing it. Well to be honst with you I also like AC/DC, (at least the chord progressions). I also like ZZ Top and Rush. The words in the songs are sometimes not biblical, but the sound pulls you in. I also like some Mil...

Nice article Canuckster. Yes, I would have to add that the renewing of one's mind is lucrative to the person as well.

Oh, in response to your other question, yes we as christians need to address it with love. I have many friends that are either gay or lesbian, (including my neighbors). I think one should always greet them with a smile.

Yes, materialism is in ALL communities (especially in the U.S.) and we are all guilty of it in some degree, (including me). I think my point was here is that materialism is amplified in the gay lifestyle. I should know, I live near San Francisco where I see this all around me. All the imagegry, hard...

Yes it is very bad, including a death sentence for anyone involved in it. The average age for a gay male is only 42 years old. I don't have stats for women but they also open themselves up to various diseases.. Many people leave this part out when debating the gay lifestyle unfortunately. On top of ...

Not that I'm a defender of R-n-R I'm actually a jazz fan or blues like you... But to say that all forms of R-N-R or dance is bad it quite a stretch for me. I'm sure there are bad forms of rock and dance and good forms of it also, but to say it is all bad is quite out of the ordinary. I think it give...

Hi Bluesman. I'm not sure what you mean here about rock and roll and dance, (about it being bad or you will go to H.. E... double chop sticks if you listen to it). Can you explain?

Thanks Canuckster.. Yes that was very helpful. No, I didn't see it before. I'm kind of new to this site. There is a lot of info here and I think it will take me awhile to find all the peices. I'm assuming hominids are being lumped together with animals according to the Bible and not with man as in G...

Homo Erectus

Hi folks, I have a somewhat troubling question, (at least for me) that I would like to address. Many times when I talk about creation the old homo erectus thing comes up... The half human half ape or whatever creature comes up. Some of the theories I've head and is that it isn't human, others say th...

True, but some Buddhists just leave the idea of deity alone. They don't necessarily all deny it. I would like to point out also, that although a Buddhist might deny a deity, he accepts all faiths and gives respect to them. The Dalai Lama has said point blank that he does not believe in any creator ...

Just to reply to that. Nostradamus made thousands of quatrains. Most believe that anyone with a focus on the negative, (i.e.. disasters, end times, etc.) could come up with the same type of prophecies. Some of the things sound convincing others are way off track. The Bible states that if someone is ...

I think I want to add here that sometimes we as Christians (I know I do) thinks that God puts his seal of approval on everything we do... How wrong can that be?? Many people think that since they are Christian that they can walk on water on that God blesses their every step. We never talk about wron...
