Re: The Beast Revelation
So already, you have left Scripture with saying the 'beast' has no relation to Satan, and that the false prophet has no connection. You have gone your own way instead of staying with God's Word as written. Davy, You have, multiple times, stated that people are NOT staying with God's word. You are n...

Re: Five Common Myths About Christianity Examined
Where does those scripture tells us the STATE of the dead? You do know that the "spirits in prison" are not the general "dead" we are speaking of, right? What did Jesus say of Lazarus? That he was "sleeping". What does Ecclesiastes 9:5 mean? It means that the dead are ...

Re: The Israel of God
The true Israel of God also includes the faithful among the children of Israel in Old Testament times. And believe it or not, it still includes national Israel today also. Reason is, God gave them promises He won't go back on involving their calling of election, because in final they are going to ac...

Re: The Beast Revelation
.... Now, getting back to the questions. The question is, where is Satan? If this question can be answered, you can eliminate some others. Some prophecy teachers believe that Satan is the beast, or that Satan is the false prophet. This interpretation is misleading, and it also creates a stumbling b...

Re: The Beast Revelation
I'll try to shed more Biblical light on your questions and answers, in hopes that it will be of help to those who understand. .... The first thing that should be addressed when doing any study of Bible prophecy is what questions do I intend to answer. Some of these questions can seem a little simpli...

Re: Five Common Myths About Christianity Examined
The Bible does reveal to what level those who have died are aware after death. As with many other Scripture revelations in God's Word, it's still up to the reader to believe what's written, or not. Just because some do not believe it as written (most likely because of heeding men's traditions instea...

Re: End Times & Rapture Obsession - Largely A Waste of Time!
Jesus gave very specific signs of the end to be watching for. So His meaning was not some adverbial 'watchful' idea like being careful to not get hit by a car while crossing the road. No, He gave specific signs to be on watch for at the end of this world, like the "abomination of desolation&quo...

Study of End Times Not A Waste
Some brethren wrongly think that studying Bible prophecy about these last days we're living in is a waste of time; and that because of a wrongful assumption that no one can really know what the Bible prophecies mean, since there's so much bickering and disagreement between different schools. In real...

Re: End Times & Rapture Obsession - Largely A Waste of Time!
The matter still is, if God has not opened up His Word in understanding to someone by The Holy Spirit, then they will go all kinds of ways and never come to the truth. It doesn't matter how much Bible scholarship or education they have; those things are tools only, not the treasure in Christ Jesus. ...

Re: How can we tell if there is a ghost or if it's a trick (like a bad angel or imagination)?
Davy, then why did this spirit that Saul talked to remind Saul about wrongdoing against God? A bad spirit would try to lead him away from God not towards. Saul specifically wanted to know why God had left him. The familar spirit told Saul why. 1 Kings 22 showed how God will also use spirits to lie ...

Re: I never knew you...
Strange how no one has really addressed the other Scriptures where Jesus said this to specific groups. Jesus will say the same thing to the five foolish virgins of Matthew 25. Those five foolish virgins represent believers on Christ Jesus. There is such a thing as 'falling away' from Christ Jesus. D...

Re: The name of Jesus?
The idea of demanding to use original language name of our Lord Jesus likely comes from those involved in the Jewish Kabbalah mysticism. Kabbalists believe that words have 'power' when you say them, etc. So naturally if you don't say them right the power is not there. That idea is totally bogus thou...

Re: God's eradication of evil societies
I suppose that makes sense. But the Holy Spirit has appeared in old testament times. But The Holy Spirit was not given to all among Israel in those times. And those times involved the old covenant, which the meaning of Torah is like an arrow, pointing to the coming of Christ and the New Covenant.
