Re: "Darwin's Intelligent Design" video

That guy is quite talented and very convincing, but IMHO just as misleading as the general data coming out of Discovery Institute.

Re: Ben Stein - Expelled movie

http://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/expelled_no_intelligence_allowed/ This website, for movie critique, has called "Expelled" a cynical political statement under the guise of a documentary. Their internet reviewers have given the movie an average "3" on a scale of "10." y:-...

Re: Molecular fossils in DNA

Hi Bart, Thanx for responding - >>Perhaps. It seems something of a double standard in some ways however to speak of the cumulative nature of this material and infer the mechanisms and then to reject the more solid nature of ID (the non-discovery institute element) and claim that such inference witho...

Re: Molecular fossils in DNA

Hi Jorge, Thanx for responding. In rare instances in the past, a retrovirus inserted a whole or partial segment of itself into the DNA of a human reproductive cell. Over time, mutations ended the capacity of the integrated viral DNA to escape. However, it could still replicate along with the DNA in ...

Re: Molecular fossils in DNA

Hi Bart,

Thanx for responding. Is it plausible? It's completely plausible! The point is that the cumulative nature of the evolutionary changes are recorded in such detail in the DNA, the overall mechanisms He used are rendered transparent.

Re: Molecular fossils in DNA

Either humans share a common ancestry with all living things, or the Creator went to a great deal of trouble to make it look that way, right down to the tiniest details of our DNA. If evolution did not happen, then the Creator certainly has a healthy sense of humor. For example: Chimp chromosomes di...

Re: Molecular fossils in DNA

One type of mutation is called a duplication pseudogene — duplication because certain gene segments are susceptible to being copied, and pseudogene because the copy is non-functional. The original functional gene in question is nicknamed GBA. The human genome has one functional GBA gene and a pseudo...
