Oh, sweet Anita, there are hundreds of transitional forms. You just aren't willing to see the power of evidence.

Re: Evidence for a Young Sun
Hi Anita, The technology behind your cellphone and about 35% of the US GNP is due to technologies that depend on quantum physics. That is due to the findings of 20th century physicists when they were let loose to follow their noses with particle accelerators and such. And of course the universe is o...

Re: Ultimate "blind" proof of Darwinian Evolution
Hi GL, I agree with everything in your post. Hi Anita, It is asking way too much to expect someone without a science background to follow this completely, but here is my paraphrase of the below article. There was a nice picture of comparative chromosomes that didn't make it through the scan. “Compar...

Re: Ultimate "blind" proof of Darwinian Evolution
Hi Anita, I'll give it a try, but this is a little hard to simplify: Think of our DNA to be a messy storage attic that may have some useful items, but tends to filled with "junk". Both the junk and useful stuff are similar in closely related species, more so than they are in less related s...

Re: Ultimate "blind" proof of Darwinian Evolution
Hi Anita, The thing is, Anita, The way the DNA evidence unfolds, there's no question that God did it through evolution. It's like all the other sciences. For every scientist making an assertion, there are hundreds that would like to prove him wrong. The things that end up surviving in mainstream sci...

Re: Evidence for a Young Sun
Hi Anita,
I wouldn't worry too much about it, We'll all be dead before .00001% of that gas is gone.

Re: Ultimate "blind" proof of Darwinian Evolution
And they all look accurate but Anita's mind set didn't develop overnight. It probably dates from childhood, she most probably reads nothing about it other than YEC literature, she probably talks about this issue with mainly YEC people...maybe yours is the right tactic. She's not going to hear it fro...

Re: Ultimate "blind" proof of Darwinian Evolution
Well, the answer is that the percentage weight of the brain to that of the whole body is what is related to intelligence. When you compare the elephant's brain weight to the elephant's gross weight, and compare it to the same measurement in humans, the human brain wt/gross wt number should be higher...

So THAT's what's happening to earth's oceans. The whales are using too much insecticide and not rotating their crops.

Hi Anita,
Elephants have great big brains, far larger than you or I. Common sense would suggest several of them should have won a nobel prize by now. How come they haven't?

Re: Ultimate "blind" proof of Darwinian Evolution
Hi Anita, What about the Hobbits recently found? Are they monkeys? Homo floresiensis ("Man of Flores", nicknamed Hobbit) is a possible species in the genus Homo, remarkable for its small body and brain, and survival until relatively recent times. It was named after the Indonesian island of...

Re: Evidence for a Young Sun
>>What really gets me is how they derive all this stuff like lithium and beryllium from our sun?<< If you burn lithium or beryllium here on earth and spectroscope it, the readout (pattern) looks a certain way. When the spectroscopic readout from a star has the same pattern, they surmise it is the sa...
