From what I take it to mean is, if divine influence brings you back to Chrisitanity, then that takes away the choice for you. If someone were to pray for god to show a miracle for him, so he comes back to Christianity then that takes away his choice in the matter, and if god is willing to do that th...

That makes sense. If he/she is not sure about his/her beliefs, then how will they know what fits them the best. :roll: I don't think that to be good advice in any case, it seems irrational to throw away ones initial beliefs and practices simply because they are suprised about a few things upon init...

If you don't mind my asking, what tore you away from Christianity? If you are not sure of your beliefs, then maybe you should explore all possible religions and see what does fit your beliefs the best.
