I've already asked this, but I wanted to know... This question is related the FFC's question... What about the Gentiles in the Old Testament? I'm not just talking about the neighbors of the Jewish people, but the people all around the globe. What about the? And please, since God is so perfect and ca...

Thank you all for your posts. I will respond to them accordingly later. For now, I just have two questions that I hope to have answered. 1) Why did God wait so long before He started to redeem the rest of mankind instead with only the Jews? 2) If God is unchanging, how come the miracles and Divine v...

Hmm... I like this  You guys have been extremely helpful. Thank you all for posts. I will reconsider Christianity. I will continue reading the Bible and seeking the answers to other questions. In the future, I hope I can post my questions here. Thanks again for your time and patience. I guess ...

BTW Enigma, I've looked for good study guides, but none of them can justify some of the actions of the Bible. If you know any that can make it okay to kill children, steal women, rape, steal, and enforce overly violent laws over some ridiculous reasons, please, tell me. I've been reading the NASB, ...

Ah, but to understand Judges you must put together everything that has happened. before. God chose Abraham and Sarah to be the vehicle for HIs people. Through Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, God built His nation. He called them to be an exalted nation through which He can show His love in the covenant o...

As to why he created us, are you married? Do you have any close friends? I don't remember who wrote it already, but God wants fellowship. I like the idea of that. Let me give you an example that most guys can relate to (sorry zoe and any other girls): My mother-in-law hates me. With a passion. With...

I agree with BW. Read the bible to learn who God is. Everything else (however relevant) will not answer that as well and will only serve to confuse you. HOWEVER, it may be beneficial to read a study guide along with it (or something to that effect). The bible was written thousands of years ago and ...

B. W. I went through your post that you left for me. Thank you. Perhaps you can clarify: Is darkness created from a LACK of light, in a way that coldness is created by a lack of heat? EDIT: So if the above is true, why do you think God needs to put such things into absolutes? It seems that to God, i...

Answer to your question above: He a God of the Living and not the dead... You sound convinced? God doesn't NEED us to exist, right? Why would He create His anyways? He is perfect, and would be foolish is He was to risk that perfection on us sinful creatures. He is all-knowing, and knows exactly wha...

I don't know if I should ask this, but it's kind of apparent... Some Christians believe in eternal hellfire (fire, screaming, torture, pain, etc.) while others don't? Do some believe that this suffering is only for a limited time, while others believe that it is forever? Do Christians actually have ...

Plenty of people reject God completely, plenty of atheists reject God. Think of Hell as them getting what they demand...a place without God. Eventually all of us must make a decision as to the place God hold in our lives. Some truly reject God. Again, if God forces them to worship Him as He deserve...
