I prefer the God explanation though.

Re: Near Death Experiences?
Hey guys, haven't posted for several months. And for those of you who don't know/remember me, I definitely am Christian. And I am definitely open to the possibilty of some NDE experiences being facilitated by God. But there has been some speculation of near death experiences being DMT. DMT is a chem...

Re: DNA against Evolution
Yea I thought it had several valid points. The problem is there is a lack of evidence for what it states, but it seems to the more "logical" approach.

Re: Long hair on a man
FFC who says the very nature of things would have to mean Mother Earth, or that type of nature. If Corinth had those cultural references, and you lived there your entire life, you would probably consider them the very nature of things because they had been ingrained in you for so many years, so mayb...

Re: Can you prove God exists only using logic?
Hey I haven't read much of this topic, but here is something that may help prove the Bible and God using "logic". It is located under the Bible and Scripture board of this forum, and the topic name is Bible foreshadowing. Here is the link: http://discussions.godandscience.org/viewtopic.php...

Bible foreshadowing
here is something I just typed out, and I believe it is a strong supporter for the validity of the Bible and Christianity. Let me know what you think, and enjoy And you may quote individual "mistakes" you think I have made, but I would also like you to respond to it as a whole, and to not ...

godandscience shirt?
hey guys, and I was just thinking this, and maybe the site already does this but I could not find it. I think it would be cool if the site offered shirts for sale that had pictures on them like the last picture of the slideshow that says Jesus Rocks and has http://www.godandscience.org on the bottom...

Re: Long hair on a man
Paul's letters on Corinth are the only letters in which I may believe we may compromise with what he says. I believe that Paul was sent by God to set up the church here on earth, and therefore I believe we must abide by what he wrote. Now, to why I think Corinthians 1 and 2 may be compromised with. ...

Re: Why was there other religions before Christian religion?
Yea. I think Greek mythology was a way for the Greeks to explain the world around them. As you can definitely see on this board, nobody likes not knowing (hope that's understandable, I'm sick and therefore my intelligence may be limited). The Greeks had no sophisticated means of finding out why the ...

Re: Death/Dying
Booooo! Of all things for you to comment on of what I said. Well, regardless of the fact if whether or not we could tell that we were, God didn't want to create us that way. He wanted to create wonderful beings in His image that had free will, that could do what they wanted and I think that is truly...

Re: Death/Dying
Hey guys I don't mean to ruin your fun but this is one thing I would like to post. If original sin is true, that doesn't mean that God creates humans guilty and that He is cruel for doing so. God created humans perfectly and flawlessly, but the Bible also says that after Adam and Eve sinned that man...

Re: Where does it all end?
One thing I'd like to say about the last post. If you notice, Jesus never spoke of hell to people who weren't already sure it existed. That's because Jesus knew that you are never going to convince someone there's hell if they don't believe in God or anything. So if someone isn't sure about the end ...

Re: Gen 1 Defies Physics Laws
You still have millions of years where plants are around and the sun is hidden by a transluscent cloud. You think this would make lots of effects, like photosynthesis, almost impossible. And the Bible never says anything about a translucent cloud. I think all of the stuff compiling Christianity and ...

Re: Gen 1 Defies Physics Laws
Okay, I've finally read through everything now, and there's a few comments I'd like to make. Currently I am in a high level statistics and probability course. Now, mathematics is the most accurate thing mankind has ever came up with - more accurate than scientific calculations in labs. When you run ...

DNA against Evolution
I don't know if there's been people trying to disprove this or not, but I thought this article did a GREAT job of giving support against evolution and for an Intelligent Designer. Here it is, lemme know what you think!
