Re: Revelation 13:10

If you look at the powers displayed by the two witnesses and match them to prophets then Moses and Elisha seem to line up. I think this is as good a guess as any other. It make sense frankbaginski, but it does not seems to bring how we will recognize them... if I can say so. I will come back later ...

Wow. I never read that in the bible, Victor. y:O2 From King James bible: Joshua 6:20,21 [20] So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down...

Very well said. But the word interpret confuses. Just take the facts that in the OT some Prophets ordered to kill and rape children.

Re: Revelation 13:10

Well my point was just to figure out if anybody had a clue on how are we going to recognize the 2 Witnesses... But I guess it is likely that someone has to make some research conserning that Reveletion part. Plus, some believers think that Revelation has occured, and thus is not to come.

jenna wrote:Elijah died and was buried.
Where in the Bible it is written?
jenna wrote:"no man has seen heaven". This would include Elijah.
and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.

It is not saying: and Elijah went up by a whirlwind and saw heaven.

Jenna, 2Kgs.2 [1] And it came to pass, when the LORD would take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal. [2] And Elijah said unto Elisha, Tarry here, I pray thee; for the LORD hath sent me to Bethel. And Elisha said unto him, As the LORD liveth, and as thy soul...

Re: Great Tribulation

Jenna, God will give you the grace to get through anything. He knows our hearts that we are dust. All He asks is that we have faith and trust that He will be with us in the hardest of times...and even if we don't remain faithful, He always will be. There is a difference between turning out hearts a...

Re: Revelation 13:10

One was the original Elijah, one was a type of "Elijah", and was John the baptist, and the third was somebody else, who has come and prophesied and is now dead. So then, is the first Elijah went directly to God? And thus never yet died? Or is it somebody else in the bible (OT or NT)? Tahn...

JCSx2, How old is the quran?, was it written before the Book of Genesis? Genesis was written about 1400 BC. That is my answer or is it? I think the Coran (in french) has been written 600 years after birth of Jesus. But is there an old Coran that started to be written before? I can not say. Victor

Re: Revelation 13:10

Zebulon, are you talking about ELIJAH? Elijah will not become one of the 2 witnesses. There are actually 3 "Elijah's" mentioned in the bible. One was the original Elijah, one was a type of "Elijah", and was John the baptist, and the third was somebody else, who has come and prop...
