My point is that for a sentence in the bible there could be many ways of understanding it depending who translated it, how that person understanded it, and in witch languages. This is where we have to be carefull. It is the words of God but translation is of men.

Actually the verse I was referring to says for wives to be submissive and obey their husbands. Please bring the verse(s).
