Re: Cain, after Abel
So what happened to Cain after he killed Abel? I know he wandered the earth and all, but did he reproduce, and if so, with who? I ask because I have a friend who thinks he's smart and likes to say, "After Cain killed Abel, the Bible says he joined a different tribe, but where'd that tribe come...

Following quote from CRAM website The Shepherd's Chapel is, at the very least, a controversial church with many unorthodox doctrines. The following list of teachings from the Shepherd's Chapel is derived from scouring the In...

Re: Christians who committ suicide
I have always wondered about someone who has given their life to Christ and later on commits suicide. Is this forgivable in God's eyes? Its falls under "murder," for its premeditating and killing a child of GOD. Guess who the first one is that they face? It isn't Saint Peter! There will b...

Re: Who has read the entire Bible?
I am currently in the Book of Joshua. I love that book! :D Joshua 3091 Yhowshuwa` yeh-ho-shoo'-ah or Yhowshua {yeh-ho-shoo'-ah}; from 'Yhovah' (3068) and 'yasha`' (3467); Jehovah-saved ; Jehoshua (i.e. Joshua), the Jewish leader:--Jehoshua, Jehoshuah, Joshua. Compare 'Howshea`' (1954), 'Yeshuwa`' (...

Re: Who has read the entire Bible?
Its a daily study, spending time in Father's WORD. Reading the Bible over and over. I use a King James so then i use a Strong's Exhaustive Concordance. You can't read the Bible in a year correctly, it should take 3 to 4 years. 2Ti 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth ...

Re: The thousand year reign
Again, since the verse says "a thousand YEARS as one day", I'm not sure where you are getting 1000 DAYS as one day. :? 2Pe 3:8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. We will spend "one"...

Re: The thousand year reign
I have a question here, 7. You said that one of God's days is equal to 1000 of man's days. Was this a misquote? It should actually be one of God's days is equal to 1000 of man's YEARS. Also, you said that the "Lord's Day" was the millenium period in Revelations. Actually the Lord's Day is...

Rev 20:2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years , Rev 20:3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled...

Re: Once Saved always saved?
Hi, I'm new here and this is my first posting. I'm not sure if this idea is one shared by GodandScience, but I noticed a member stating this about himself. I have always belived that you can lose your salvation if you do not remain in the truth. Look at Heb.10:26,27 and Heb. 6:4-6. Matt.24:13 also ...

Re: Dinosaurs
Hello :) I would like to know about dinosaurs. Besides the verse that says great creatures roam the earth, are there any other verses that talk about them? I only know about the crocodile thingy described in Job called the Leviathon or something to that extent. If any one knows more verses about din...

Re: Next Pope: the Devil
Two morning stars? And one is a fake? There was only ONE "morning star", and that was Lucifer before the fall. How can there be two Lucifer's, with one being fake? There are two "Christs'". one real and one fake, but He was never referred to as the "morning star".I cho...

Re: Next Pope: the Devil
You've probably seen the Google advertisement: The Bible reveals next and last Pope will be a devil impersonating John Paul II ... http://www.worldslastchance.com/index.php?p=next_and_last_pope.php Puritan Lad once used the term 'Chicken Little eschatology'. It springs to mind here. What a lot of e...

Re: Making your faith real
I was an engineer before salvation and I still think like an engineer to this day (25 years later). I think a problem I have been having is trying to work out my salvation my way and not God's. But how do you do that? I am very black & white. Logic rules! How can I learn and understand and grow...
