Why do you call yourself "SaintConfused"?
What confuses you about faith?

Re: Resurrection question

Great article, thanks.I admit I have most of my life been a solid follower of Christ, the doubts I have experienced have mostly been emotional in nature,as I have had circumstances where I have been very hurt spiritually. It seems as if some days I am more solid than others, but other days I am concern...

Re: Logical Outworking of Morals

I started this post in response to a recent interview with atheist/author Christopher Hitchens. When asked why he seemed to appear rude when debating and in general, he answered that " being nice and polite" is a Judeo-Christian value and he does not believe in Judeo-Christian values, impl...

Logical Outworking of Morals

One of the primary criticisms of Christianity is hypocracy. If a Christian is not living a moral lifestyle, this would indeed be hypocritical. Therefore, if an atheist/agnostic were living a moral lifestyle, that, too, would qualify as hypocritcal. Since morals are the logical outworking of Christia...

Historicity of Christmas

We know that the birth of Christ was, in all probability, not the 25th of December. I recall reading, at one point, that His birth may have been in (our current calendar) July or, perhaps, early October. In addition, I recall seeing an excellent presentation (PBS or History Channel) regarding the hi...

Re: Obama chooses Rick Warren for inauguration..

I still can't get a grasp on Obama, it is surprising he picked Warren, which gives me more to hope for...or more to be skeptical of. If he really does lead from the center (thats the best we could hope for) then it is possible we could get more done in the house and senate, but, I don't forsee much...

Re: More people believe in aliens then God?

Most people don't believe there is enough "evidence" to support the existence of God, that is "just a faith thing" (most of us know better). Still, they consider questionable "sightings" and "abductions" enough to support UFO's and alien existence. This kind ...

Re: Was the West founded on Christian Values?

In the presentation, "Is American Really Christian?", Ravi Zacharias and Michael Ramsden address this question. Zacharias asks the question, "Can America have been founded on any other worldview?" (Islam, Hinduism, naturalism?) There were those founders not sympathetic to Christ...

Re: Nova - Bible's Buried Secrets

I catch many of the historical programs relating to the Bible on History Channel and Nova. I appreciate and respect the reports questioning many of the "facts" (as they present them). I find it odd that they rarely-- if ever-- have rebuttals from experts like Gary Habermas, William Lane Cr...
