Here is a great (and short) article on global warming. How this researcher says it will be less than predicted and that the warming that has happened is due mostly to natural causes. Read to the end for unfortunate bias in peer review.

Re: A new spin on Psalms 23:4
Obama is the shepherd I did not want. He leadeth me beside the still factories. He restoreth my faith in the Republican party. He guideth me in the path of unemployment for his party's sake. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the bread line, I shall fear no hunger, for his bailouts are with m...

I just don't believe this guy. His head is way deeper in the sand than anyone he's trying to "educate." He obviously hasn't researched the sources used on the main site and he doesn't know about Rich. You'd think that he was in jr. high after citing Religulous.
Lol, I had to look up pom.

It's possible that, so far, you have been the only Anti-Member.

Re: Is God inconsistent...or are Christians?
Yes, nice post Bart. I wanted to say that when I wrote that Christians weren't inconsistent, I meant Christians as a group, as the body of Christ, in relation to the bible (we aren't being inconsistent as a group when we don't put to death homosexuals). I didn't mean individual Christians aren't inc...

Re: Is God inconsistent...or are Christians?
God isn't inconsistent and His morals (and ours) aren't inconsistent. How He has shown us to handle sins is different though. Israel had the imperfect sacrificial system. I'm not saying God is imperfect, but He implemented that system for a reason. At the right time, He sent Christ to end the sacrif...

Re: Is God inconsistent...or are Christians?
Just to answer quick for right now, Israel was a theistic nation that God created. The commands you are talking about were for the nation of Israel. Christians are different in that we're not a "nation" of God's, but part of Christ's body. We don't live in a theocratic nation now, commande...

Yes, it happens every day now. I just removed two. Some people are adding links a period of time later, when the thread gets more active. Everything is buy, buy, buy . . .

Re: evolution?
I must admit that when I start reading a book and I encounter a statement that is clearly and obviously wrong - then I tend to put the book down. Its not worth my time to read anything written by someone who doesn't check their facts, or who doesn't have the intellectual capacity to fully understan...

There's plenty of evidence to believe in the Christian faith, good historical evidence Please have a look at: http://www.worldagesarchive.com/Reference_Links/False_Testament_%28Harpers%29.htm Please be specific (as I have been asked to be), "plenty of evidence" please name one piece of ev...

I couldn't be any more clear...read through the guidelines and compare your intolerance to the audience that this board is intended for. Even in your defense your scorn shines through. There are plenty of Christians who are scientists, check out http://www.asa3.org for a good example. There are goo...
