Re: Pregnant "man"
The thing that bothers me is that all the media say...it's a "pregnant man". This is a blatant lie! She is not a man nor will she ever be a man.

Re: Pregnant "man"
I find it bizarre in that she is a woman who thinks she's a man...so makes herself look like a man and lives like a man. But she still wants to carry and have children. So much contradiction as to identity I would think her head would hurt trying to sort it out.

Pregnant "man"
Thomas Beatie is in the news again for being a pregnant man. For those who don't know who Thomas Beatie is...she is a woman who had her breast removed and takes male hormones... all to give the appearance of being a man. She made the news last year for being "the pregnant man" and gave bir...

Re: Socialism, Universal Health Care
As Christians we're to give much of what we earn, right? To be God's "hands" on earth. There's a difference between a Christian type of socialism (which would just be called Christian society, say) and a government imposed socialism. I don't see people making the distinction here on the b...

Re: Sex within marriage
I thought I might add a bit on anal intercourse. I have a women's health book written by a gynecologist. In there she says that anal intercourse can lead to fecal incontinence. (Is that the right spelling?) Who wants to not be able to hold their bowel movements in when they're older just for some p...

Re: Presidential Election
Check out this link from CNN: http://www.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/08/16/warren.forum/ Note Obama said that although he's pro-choice and supports Roe v. Wade , his goal is to reduce the number of abortions in America. I'll concede he doesn't want to throw away babies, but pro-choice means support for mu...

No. While that is one big issue for me...same-sex marriage or civil unions is another big one with me. I also have a problem with how he plans to deal with economic issues that effect me.psr6782 wrote:Is it just the issue of abortion that turns you towards McCain?

I hope you're wrong too Bylos. While not exactly what I want in a leader McCain is better than Obama. Too bad Huckabee isn't still in it.

Re: Are Aliens Real?
I think it's funny that people believe with all the problems in the world (including wars, nations not trusting each other, spying, treason, ect) that they (all the nations of the world) can stay in agreement about not letting people know about aliens. People really believe in aliens, but say all pr...

Re: Open Inquery: Gambling?
I agree with you Daniel on all points. I just can't understand why so many people find it to be a sin or "unChristian". I was curious of what some of the people on this board thought. Most people on here seem to be very learned in scripture.

Is it sinfull or not? Is it being a bad steward? Is it the same as theft?(strait from and baptist preacher) Is it only sin when taken to an extreme?

Exactly!I guess we'll not understand those scars on Christ's hands...it also opens the door once again for sin to enter in...having not experienced it or able to explain its curse.

Re: Question
Actually I believe from scripture that Heaven will be totally brand new and we will not recollect our lives here on earth or our marriage or family we had while here on earth. [/quote] If thats true then what is really the point of this life? To die in this life and not remember any of it in the ne...
