Like bacteria eating nylon - it's possible (likely) that a very small minority of bacteria were already capable of digesting nylon Before nylon existed? Why is that likely, and why have they not sprang up everywhere there is nylon? I'll give you it may be possible, but far from likely. Toxin resist...

AttentionKMartShoppers: I think good evidence for creationism is....a lack of evidence for the other side Dan: The same can be said about Intelligent Design So I guess if a biologist accepted creationism or Intelligent Design they would benefit from not doing any research in order to ensure they ne...

A frame shift mutation occuring in bacteria giving them the beneficial ability to digest nylon: http://www.nmsr.org/nylon.htm Also how do you think bacterial resistance evolves? It evolves through mutations. Mutations change enzymes of the bacteria to give them resistance to anti-biotics. The same f...

You link to a muslim site with anti-evolutionist articles and then link to sites which say muslims are liars! And here, the information. I'll give you a link and say this-information (DNA in this case) requires a mental source. I have read the link. The source of DNA is different to the evolution of...

Hi Bobsmith, Can you please post your source(s) for research purposes? I am interested to see how the conclusion was reached that these were progressive, and not contemporaries. I took species I had heard of from the list here: http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/homs/specimen.html I have read almost e...

Ok. I won't labor the point, but how do you then explain the sudden appearance of phyla during the Cambrian, if there are no clear ancestors? So we agree for now that this remains a mystery to science, although there are hypothesis? Yes the lack of pre-cambrian fossils (although there are some) is ...

It's not circular reasoning. If mutations cannot add new information, then new structures cannot form, and therefore evolution cannot not occur. You haven't defined information in terms of genetics, let alone shown that mutation cannot add that information. Why even use the word information? You se...

It's amazing, it's you who don't seem capable of thinking. I haven't proven you right, not in the least. The argument was that Haekel's drawing are used as examples of evolution, and you were opposed to that. I have proven that the stuff is still taught, and in college. They are, if you read anythi...

Scientists would like nothing more than to have a time machine in order to collect any evidence they want, but instead they are restricted to whatever evidence that has remained. The further back you go, the less evidence remains. Scientists take painstaking efforts to try and gather as much evidenc...

The question is really then where are the transitional fossils between chordates to invertabrates during the Cambrian period? If the Chordata phylum emerged during the Cambrian, as these fossils now show, where are the transitional forms between them and their predecessors during the Cambrian? Do y...

Ok then; I assumed you adhere to what I perceive to be the standard evolutionist theory about how the first life began - my mistake. Sponaneous formation of life from amino acids isn't what any standard evolutionist theory says. The point is that at some time in the past, something that was inert m...

Re: More Questions
Are they out there like they are for animal evolution? And at what point did plants and animals start to differ from each other? Animals and plants both have DNA and evolve in exactly the same way. The difference between the two is because plants and animals split so long ago. I am no expert on evo...

Modern animals in the Cambrian.... Okay a jawless fish exists in the Cambrian and jawless fish also still exist today. I suppose you could have picked algae too - they are also found in the cambrian. But where are all the mammals, birds and reptiles? Where are the whales and sharks? Doesn't it seem...
