Not a chunk that just stayed near earth, it was a sphere that surrounded earth. Yes, I got that. Even though such a thing is physically impossible. Nothing is impossible with God. God can hold the earth in one place for 10 days, why should making an ice barrier be any trouble? And why would it melt...

Uh, Genesis 2:6 can't be rain b/c in Genesis 2:5 it says "...for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground." So, obviously the "mist from the ground" can't be rain when it specifically states that it hasn't rained yet.

How? The only scirpture in the NT that I can think of that speaks of self defense is "turn the other cheek" and "live by the sword and you shall die by it's blade". And both of those are pretty anti-self-defense.

This shatter resulted in parts of it coming down in the atmosphere and burning up and melting. Thus creating the flood. A shield of ice would not survive in outer space. And where did the water go? Not a chunk that just stayed near earth, it was a sphere that surrounded earth. And why would ...

I came up with a theory for the reason a couple weeks ago. Adam, Eve, Seth,...Methusela were the "founding fathers" of humanity. They had to populate earth. You can have a lot more kids in a 900 year lifespan than you could in a 100(if you're lucky) lifespan. So thus, God extended thier li...

I don't think God designed Satan for evil. B/c in God's eyes, the temptor is just as bad as the temptee, and God would be a temptor, therefore that would make God a sinner. Also, as for seeing God's face and stuff. Even if seeing the face of God eliminates salvation, that would only eliminate Adam a...

Also, if dinosaurs existed alongside our modern animals, there would be no modern animals, and humans would have a slim possibility of making it. B/c, if haven't noticed, dinosaurs, and even the ice age animals, are a great deal larger than any animal we have today. Ergo, the carnivorous dinos woul...

Anyways, by asking for the cup to pass from Him, how is that not asking God to spare Him? I fail to see the analogy. How does passing the cup to Him mean He wants to be spared? Not to Him, from Him. And what else could it mean it that context? Also, you have yet to explain how God could be tempted....

I do not find it unbelievable for man and dinosaur to have coexisted. Someone mentioned herds of dinosaurs not attack towns, well there arent too many instances of any herds of any kind of animal attacking a town, if a wild animal does enter a town for the most part it stays on the very outskirts, ...

The penalty for sin is death. If you sin once, you're dead. There is only one way to be absolved and through Jesus's sacrifice. Granted we se Ghandi, Buddha, and Mohammed as pretty nice guys, but that means nothing in the long run if they haven't accepted Christ(well, since Buddha was born in BC, he...

Micheal, there's a difference between reincarnation and resurrection. Reincarnation is coming back into a different body after death. Resurrection is coming back to life in the same body, or the same body simply remade. Resurrection won't happen until the apocalypse. Reincarnation will happen on the...

Reincarnation is a bunch of hooey. It's been proven false. I mean, how could the population increase if that was true?

Also, if God did do reincarnaation, that would pretty much make Jesus's sacrifice pointless.

I was under the impression that us being in God's image was a spiritual thing... It is. But, in order to be sentient, you would have to be made in God's image(theoretically). And some people think that the gift God gave us, being made in God's image, would be less special if there were others(alien...
