N4SC wrote:Okay...so what are you saying here?
Creation as I perceive it is what I am saying, and if you read it carefully it does not clash with scripture

Did God create evil/why does he allow it??
Hi, Did God create evil as a way of realising goodness?? God is supreme and the ultimate in accountability for good and evil is his (The buck really really stops with him) Why did God stand back and do nothing during the holocuast? Why does God permit natural catastrophes like the tsunami that kill...

Re: Help please 'God' a nonsense word?
Hi God is the prime title in all creation if you say God everyone knows who you are talking about. Jesus used the term God for his Father and that should be good enough for anyone Remember on the cross he cried out My "My God my God why have you forsaken me"

Re: Is the literal six day creation wrong?
The point is that God set his clock to the present day earth time flow constant when he created the universe. Wait... Are you implying that the Earth is the centre of the universe? Of course not the universe has no centre!! Genesis is talking about three creative acts of God,the heavens, the plant ...

Re: Is the literal six day creation wrong?
Alan, that is some interesting stuff. Right can God work faster than us absolutely YES could he do in one day what would take us billions of years, again yes. God is infinite and he could have done all the work of creation that "we think took billions of years in just one earth day". Reme...

Re: Is the literal six day creation wrong?
Alan - It's all relative though. A clock in high gravity will run slow relative to one that is in lower gravity. Take 2 clocks that are calibrated by the earth and on the earth so that after a, say, certain number of quartz vibrations they report "one day has passed" (calibrate it to eith...

Re: Is the literal six day creation wrong?
Alan - Time might be stretching, but a day (on earth) is defined as how long it takes the planet to revolve once on its axis. If you hypothetically landed of a neutron star within its colossal gravity field and assume it revolves in one relative earth day. On your journey to the star you bring you ...

Re: Is the literal six day creation wrong?
Hi guys I have been thinking and you know what the six twenty four hour creation of the universe and earth is corect both biblically and scientifically. You see time does not flow as a constant in the early universe and its colossal gravity time flowed billions of times slower that it does now in th...

5) Now if any learned rational bible scholar can tell me that this is the same father God that is the same yesterday tomorrow and forever, I am all eyes and ears waiting for a logical explanation.? Re: Please rationalise Numbers 31 in light of a loving god?
Reading the appalling account of genocide of the Midianite people by Moses and his army makes me doubt God told him to carry out this awful crime against humanity. After all the Midianites were also God creation and children. The murder of woman and children makes me doubt the scriptures please hel...

Re: Please rationalise Numbers 31 in light of a loving god?
Besides if you really want to boil this all down, we should also rationalize this same concept to the nations that harbor nuclear weapons. After all, this weapon would not only destroy women and children but a whole lot more. And we have used it before in the past... On civilians too. We are just a...
