Re: Ardi - Ardipithecus ramidus
We know that what was once considered junk is turning out to be treasure. And that junk was in fact waved as the banner of proof of common descent. Not quite. Despite claims to the contrary, even by many evolutionists who rely on press releases and such, all noncoding DNA was NOT considered junkDNA...

Derwood, Please take some time to review the board guidelines http://discussions.godandscience.org/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=2517 and understand the purpose here. I believe I do. I'm not sure why countering disinformation is an issue. Do Christians really not want to understand the things they discuss?

From an anatomical perspective?cslewislover wrote: The creature is standing completely straight like we do. I find that hard to believe.
Please expand on this. I have graduate training in anatomy and I would like to hear your explanation.

Re: Question for evolutionists here ie touchingcloth, igofan etc
A simple explanation. The West is long over due for sweeping revival. As a collection of post Christian nations that were damaged by the ammorality and immorality of secularists, you can see the results of this modern nominal Christianity/Catholicism in the lifestyles of their respective population...

Re: Question for evolutionists here ie touchingcloth, igofan etc
Like McCullough's study which showed that individuals low in religiosity are more likely to have a disaffected, apathetic, cynical, and ambitionless personality even among intellectually gifted people. And since atheists are more likely to engage in infidelity which correlates with psychoticism, lo...

Re: Are you a fluke??
Of the six .five billion people you are the offspring of only two, namely your mom and dad. Of your mom's some twenty thousand eggs you arose from just one of them. Out of your dads half billion or so sperm cells, only one reached that specific egg to create the absolutely unique being that you are...

Re: Robot Wars (Is evolutionary theory built on chance?)
I believe that is why many say abiogenesis is not based on Darwinian evolution.. Many might say that because it is the truth. Darwinian evolution is about the origin of SPECIES, i.e., the changes that produce new species. Species that are already alive. Why would a theory on the production of new s...

Re: Robot Wars (Is evolutionary theory built on chance?)
I don't believe there are any RNA molecules or proteins in non-living chemicals. All chemicals are non-living. I'm simply starting from scratch here.. I believe that is what abiogenesis or the chemical origin of life teaches. If so, there is no natural selection to get the process going. NS needs s...

Re: Robot Wars (Is evolutionary theory built on chance?)
Really? I am an OEC I believe that the universe is billions of years old. I enjoyed the show, and you didn't give an answer. What is the correct ansswer to a strawman arguemtn, I wonder? So how did a bunch of atoms (protons nuetrons, and electrons) come to life, begin to self actualized, and type t...

Re: Robot Wars (Is evolutionary theory built on chance?)
Another Robot War. This one involves the topic of chance and how it is reflected in evolutionary theory. This is actually a hot topic that not too many people write about. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jqia0rBOO5M Pretty silly, all in all. I could only stomach about 2 minutes. "Something had ...
