I agree with bizzt "So 144,000 were sealed which were Jews who were called to preach in the End Days to the Multitude" I think that is the jist of it. 144,000 from the 12 tribes are sealed to be preachers in the last days to try and covert as many people as they possibly can. Hence the mu...

Silvertusk, i know what you mean. I see the same thing happening. When i first started standing up for myself as a Christian i didnt know much about science and kind of didnt like being made fun of at work. See in the US, the thing now is that God is really a three letter word to alot of people. th...

In fact the levels of...

Secularism killed the Christian

I am wondering if anyone on this website is finding it increasingly harder to be a christian in a secularistic society. Christianity in the UK is seeming more and more old fashioned, unPC, bigotted and intolerant. For instance the latest trend here is about Gay Civil Partnerships. Before I came a ch...

I was on the line of "I couldn't give a monkeys". Then I met my wife and she led me to God. It is still a battle mind. So I don't really know what that use to make me - agnostic, lazy, stupid. You pick. But I would certainly be interested in such a website if you plan to do so. I find hear...

I'm interested, what does your research tell you the "lake of fire" is? Or the "smoke of their torment" ascendeth up for ever and ever? Or "everlasting destruction"? Or "neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be abhorring unto all flesh"? (sound...

Re: Hell

Reading Lee Strobels "Case for Faith" - it comes up with a good analogy of hell. Because eternal punishment is one of the stumbling blocks for faith as it seems a bit harsh to say the least - this has actually been misunderstood. Hell is a choice that each of us make and not God. We alone...

Re: Hell

Ive always believed in hell as a place, but im starting to think that there may be a chance that all the fire etc is just symbolic of how regretful and the shame you will have by rejecting God. I know what God will do is right but burning in pain forever seems a bit harsh for someone whos skeptical...

Thanks for that. That has certainly raised some more questions. For those of you in the UK there is a program on TV this thursday BBC2 9.00pm - Horizon - it talks about the War on Science by the intelligence design movement. It features Dawkins, Attenbourgh and Dembski. I am wondering whether to wat...

90 Minutes in Heaven

I have just finished this very moving and powerful book. It is a true story about a man who was pronounced dead in a car crash on the scene and then spent 90 minutes in heaven. Do to the result of prayer it seems - he was sent back. The man was Don Piper - anyone else heard of him. This book I would...

Evidence for the nativity

Hey Guys

Merry Christmas

Just a quick question - Is there any evidence for the nativity apart from Matthew and Luke's Gospel - I mean in areas like where the birth took place - the virgin birth etc...

I have always had a notion of God - but didn't really pay any heed to it until a couple of years ago - for selfish reason I am sorry to say. Now I believe, and with Gods grace my faith is getting stronger every day. I got baptised about a month ago and it is one day I will remember for the rest of m...
