Re: Next Sermon on Prayer.
Some great comments and thoughts there Nessa - thank you. I especially like the mask analogy.
I will certainly be using the Psalms a lot in my sermon - And you are absolutely right about the tone of them - wouldn't it be good to hear them raw as they were intended.

Re: Next Sermon on Prayer.
Thanks for the reply Nessa. I have posed that question as well - what does it matter to God? And that one should be up there as well. I find it difficult to pray sometimes for a few reasons. FL because you're sharp, defiant and witty. I assure you that I am none of the above. It's not really possible to get an accurate idea of someone unless you meet them in person. My friends* would describe me as generous, a good listener and appreciated by all who meet me. * This is hypot...

Re: The Band that played during the recent attack in France
Frankly, B.W., I don't much care what either the Bible or the Koran says about much of anything. What matters to me is people's actions. For example, I'm sure that you can find me plenty of Biblical quotes about how Christianity is a religion of peace. To me that's irrelevant. What matters is what ...

Maybe not Cameron specifically but Britian has dealt with a good deal of homeland terrorism with the IRA for many years - so we have at least some experience of dealing with it.RickD wrote:What does Kirk Cameron know about terrorism?Storyteller wrote:Cameron has declared that the risk of a terror attack is severe here.

Is this true or not - but is the rib the only bone that will grow back?

Also can i refer you to the case of Oscar Pistorius who allegedly "shot first" what he thought was an intruder and look how that turned out.
