Re: Darwinism?
Thanks Byblos for the warm welcome. For the record I have a 1979 undergraduate degree in business from a state university, six undergraduate college science courses, highest math was analysis/ Calculus one and I was only a B/C student. Not exactly stellar educational achievements. Yes I came to this...

Re: Darwinism?
OK I'm wrong on marcro/micro evolution. There is both, but I'm sticking with my guns on the actions and results being the same. A species would have to change 1% every 20,000 years or for humans every 1,000 generations, or 4,000 generations or more for most other animals to have species differnetiat...

Re: Darwinism?
DannyM, I found this site just yesterday and posted a response after only reading the first page of the thread. I will go back and read other postings and if I have anything half intelligent to add I will. I will also read the Deem's articles and we can discuss at a later time. As for the long life ...

Re: Darwinism?
Pardon me August,
Retro viruses like DNA leave a trail that be be traced through multiple generations. For instance humans and orangutans share a retro virus that would be impossible if we did not share a common ancestor at some point. I am not a scientist , but I find that compelling evidence.

Re: Darwinism?
DannyM, You're the one that wanted a polite exchange. Let's keep it that way. I should be working but this is more interesting. Why is it hard to believe that people lived allot longer, because there is no proof other than the STORIES in the Bible. I do not think that qualifies as incredulous. I am ...

Re: Darwinism?
Hello Again, I am not an angry atheist, Iill not claim to be overly intelligeny either. Just drawing my own conclusions from study and life experiences. But I want to answer some of the replies that I got from my first post. First to Gman, thank you for a rational response. No six day creation, loca...

Re: Darwinism?
Alright everybody, get ready, get set, pile on. I am an atheist. Not only am I an atheist, but a former Christian that gave up my beliefs because of science and Kent Hovind. Basically every argument Hovind ever made against evolution was false or an out right lie. Now I see there are many more follo...
