Re: Situational Ethics or Tickbox ethics?

Nothing wrong with being funny. Well on the condition that the situation calls for it. ;) Sometimes though you just have to put on a brave face and be deadly serious.

Re: What is speaking in tongues?

To me a tongue would be language, like "native tongue" or something. From what it say in acts it sounds like the believers did come from many nations and that explains why they could speak many languages doesn't it? It does go on to talk about people from various countries in the empire be...

Re: Morals without god/the bible

Blasting opinions are a good(if it can be called so) way to end discussion that much is true. really we should put aside personal bias and question things. Maybe extended life lengths can be rational without modern medical know-how, maybe it was ancestor worship. Who knows? Anyway if you think I mig...

My hours are pretty fantastic tbh. 40 Hour a week but only about 30 spent actually doing work :D If I need a quiet place away from my work in the city, in my house in countryside...Its quite except on Sundays. A re...

Re: The Bible is light years ahead of science

would have blocked much of the radiation that now hits the earth , yea a big sheet of ice would block radiation...including light. I can see how certain conditions could result in extreme life times, Just I can not view 900 as entirely possible. Everything seems to conspire to kill us and if we liv...

Re: Wisdom

I was just reading The Proverbs..and something hit me :S is Wisdom >> Jesus? :esurprised: I would agree, especially the latter part of chapter 8. In chapter 9, wisdom (Jesus) is compared to folly (atheism). FL Sorry but not quite exactly, there are many follies. One of the wisest things is to admit...

Adam - 930 Lamech - 874-1651 Noah - 1056-2006 Terah - 1879-2084 Abraham - 2009-2184 Flood - 165 This is NUTS, It is just a little something called Ancestor Worship can't you see that? How are you supposed to be concentrating on your God Kristus if you worship a distant ancestor as a kind of super h...

Re: Awesome women ministers

I want to hear, if Kristus ever speaks to me I will drop what I am doing and hear. I have a hunch, when I have them I listen to them. My hunch is saying that this is worth a try. To be honest I have nothing to worry about the people in my country have no problem with religion despite their lack of i...

Re: Awesome women ministers

Anyway, why are you here??...as long as you're here to learn and participate in a meaningful and respectful way. You seem completely materialistic and unwilling to even try and understand the Bible, so, why are you here? I am here because I want to be taught, I may seem to be entirely materialistic...

Re: Morals without god/the bible

You act like you don't understand so much I want to understand more. So, we should believe that you care? How, do I be gentle? I really do feel empathy, I Just need to stop being so blunt. Its a hard lesson to learn but how can I simply becmoe more gentle? Is sincerity like seriousness? Because I v...

Re: The Multiverse Theory.

I do not get why I need a Rod across my back , but I know of my foolishness, it would be unwise for me to not say that I can do foolish things. It is in my business to take risky[very executive choices ahaha] decisions and in some rare cases they really backfire on me. I do not wish to upset the ap...
