Johnny, the obvious answer would be to seek the will of God through prayer and let the Holy Spirit minister a conviction. Then we will be stopped from making a wrong decision - something which affects our salvation and being a witness to others. We live under God's grace - slaves to righteousness, n...

Firstly, I would agree that the Christian's greatest desire is to see Christ return to reign physically on this earth. Now, the way to hasten that return, I believe, is not being passive. Preaching the gospel to everyone is a pre-requirement. So, we can play our part in creating/preserving an atmosp...

Paul's model with the gentile churches was to appoint teachers and elders and then move on. He got feedback and then wrote epistles and/or visited them. Churches have to provide the necessary infrastructure for new Christians to help them walk the Christian Way. How many have this in place or have t...

The way Christ carries out his work on earth at present is through His body - The Church. Our objective is to preach the gospel - Voting right can ensure a sustainable atmosphere for this. Who's to know how long it will be before this is outlawed - even in the US! Liberals will hasten that process. ...

Didn't the Disciples also touch him? I don't recall this—who did He forbid to touch him?

While every aspect of Christian life is important, I think different people have a particular gifting and burden in a particular area(s). P MD, yours could be in evangelism - you certainly are very enthusiastic about it - very commendable, exciting and often risky ministry. Every Christian is called...

Does anyone have an opinion on this?: The resurrected and glorified Jesus is identified by his piercings. So, the preincarnate Christ (man who wrestled with Jacob) is different in appearance to the Christ who presented Himself to John the revelator. Why did Jesus forbid some to touch Him after His r...

The family can refuse to be saved if they refuse to believe that fire is destructive. You can forcibly save them, but salvation cannot be forced.

Also, even if they believe that fire is destructive, when do I give up if they refuse to believe that the house is on fire?

If we are of the opinion that we are close to the end times - then we can be assured that we will get opportunities soon to make a clear choice on the issue of a Biblical worldview. Maybe for some it may be a life and death choice. Persecution will come and we should be mentally prepared for it. Not...

From my own personal experience: Fear of death will fade away. It was slow for me. There are still other ungodly fears I'm still in the process of overcoming. Sometimes, I even wish it would all end when there are no loose strings left in my life. The truth is that we are here to fulfil God's purpos...

Judge or be Judged - Removing specks from eyes

Here's a question that has been bothering me - How do you show intolerance through love for an unbeliever's contra-scriptural actions? My friendship with non-Christians has an evangelistic bias. Am I correct in believing that approaches to Christians erring in their ways are different from attempts ...

Is there a case for Christ from the Koran? He is only another prophet by that account. Don't get it. Well, a few would agree that the Koran is a counterfeit of the Christian gospel. Its subtly appeals to man's pride by removing the concept of grace, inspite of both containing a lot of similar stori...

(Just a note for Christians arguing the case for Christ from the Koran.)
