Re: Crætionists are a joke?
I could accept God alongside evolution, just have to decide which god and why. If there is a good reason to follow a particular deity, then everyone should. (although obviously people should be free to choose) Do you think that all Athiests are naturalists? Because it only requires to not believe i...

Re: Hawking - God did not create the universe
I agree wholeheartedly that our knowledge is not separated from our faith or our philosophy. The world is errant, and I'm hoping we might get people to start thinking about it in our neighborhoods and workplaces... and in our churches. Praise be to God for grace and love within the community of fait...

Re: God and logic. Whats the world coming too?
Hi RT, I blame the churches for this sad state of affairs. Logic and thinking was what made theology into what it is, not this lazy, head-in-the-sand, fingers-in-the-ears going lalalala, shallow faith. Sadly very few churches require any intellectual vigor from their members any more, and that is w...

Re: Probability argument.
I find that most people I talk with, in church and in the community, pagan and Christian, are not really interested in weighty discussions with any form of formal logic involved. We are called to give an answer for the hope that is within us, however I do not find that discussions of seemingly endle...

Re: Hawking - God did not create the universe
Ok, after hearing what Hugh Ross and the boys had to say about this, I"m still have a lot of unanswered questions and am getting confused and worried about the whole thing. There is nothing to worry about.. Actually I'm glad that Hawking manned-up and admitted that his "so called" sc...

Re: Hawking - God did not create the universe
Wow, I really didn't see this one coming. Haven't scientists tried to use this idea before? Let's see if any of you all plan on reading Hawking's book let me know what kind of evidence he uses to back up this claim. I remember William Lane Craig saying during the time when Richard Dawkins was real ...
