Re: Hebrews, Ezekiel and Jesus' death
Ezekiel says there will be a third Temple and sacrifices will be done. Question: Jesus' sacrifice was one time, so why would there be animal sacrifices in the new Temple for sin? Or are the sacrifices not for sin? If they are wouldn't this signify that Jesus' sacrifice was not sufficient. Thank you...

Re: The Four Blood Moons
Gman, I've read your posts in this thread and it sounds like you're focused on the Jewish people to the exclusion of all others. Yes, Israel and his descendents are God's chosen people, but He has also a different plan for those who put their faith and trust in His Son. Jesus said in Luke 17:26-37 t...

Re: Rapture timing?
@ 1harpazo i will most certainly do so but are you willing to listen if you believe in the pre trib rapture? i find most people i encounter who believe in the pre trib rapture close their minds off when discussing this topic. i am always willing to share what the Lord has shown me but only if the p...

Re: Rapture timing?
lol @ Gman. but in all seriousness the belief in the pre trib rapture does promote a division in the body whether one knows it or not. gentile believers and the jewish people are all one in messiah. Yes, I believe this rapture thing is there to make believers complacent. Sitting back on a sofa and ...

Re: Speaking in Tongues
Is "authentic tongues" the example in Acts 2? If Acts 2 is "authentic tongues" where the hearers understand the speaker, why is there a gift of interpretation of tongues? Is the example in 1 Cor. not authentic? Paul spoke in tongues that were not fruitful to his mind before the ...

Re: Speaking in Tongues
Harp, That is a faulty way of looking at it. I'd say every believer in this forum believes, "the Bible says that there are gifts of (speaking in) tongues and interpretation of tongues." That really isn't the issue, and it's not a sound exegetical method. It is wrong to say things that imp...

Re: Speaking in Tongues
Do you believe all that stuff about "speaking in tongues"?.......Honestly, I compare it to a little girl getting excited and making noises cuz she's so excited ( I've seen this before both the "tongues speaking" and excited little girls ) So do you take it literately, or symboli...

Re: Speaking in Tongues
So do I believe stuff about "speaking in tongues"? I do not believe it is correct as many Pentecostals practice it, but rather because it is something believed in, God has used such "foolishness" (if it be called that) to fulfill His will. So in virtue of God's using it, it woul...

Re: Speaking in Tongues
When people spoke in tounges in Biblical times it was not just babbling but was a language they did not know from somewhere on Earth and someone there could interperet it. Tongues as Daniel said - was the language of man - as what happened in Pentacost. Although Charasmatics would have you believe ...

Re: First coming of Jesus
In Daniel 9:24-26, God gave Daniel a prophecy: 24 "Seventy weeks have been decreed for your people and your holy city, to finish the transgression, to make an end of sin, to make atonement for iniquity, to bring in everlasting righteousness, to seal up vision and prophecy and to anoint the most...

My personal opinion for whatever it is worth.., and my opinion only... He is eroding Americans Constitutional rights by means of building a structure others later can build off of. This is the basic philosophic tactic that the Marxist Left employs in its attacks on the US Constitution. Recent attac...

Re: Rapture anti-Semitic
That's a pretty heady statement. Who's right you or Luke (Luke 1:6)? No one is justified by following G-d's ways.. Only Yeshua could fulfill it. No one NOW is justified by keeping God's commandments and requirements. Jesus offered one sin sacrifice-not for Himself, for us. Prior to His death, peopl...

The snatching away of living bodies, often associated with a loud voice and clouds. Jesus Acts 1:2 until the day when He was taken up ( analambano ), after He had by the Holy Spirit given orders to the apostles whom He had chosen. 9) And after He had said these things, He was lifted up ( epairo ) w...

Re: Non-believers after the Rapture
Got a question relating to the Rapture. After the Rapture occurs -- will non-believers still be able to convert and accept Jesus? Or at what point will it be too late? Thinking about friends and family here. Also not sure I would want to be taken up, as I would rather stay behind and fight for them...

Re: Rapture anti-Semitic
No one can keep all of G-d's commandments.. That's a pretty heady statement. Who's right you or Luke (Luke 1:6)? You don't see being separated from the judgment waters by an ark as being "removed". Noah wasn't in the water. What about Lot? He was removed by angels (supernatural event, no?...
