MLO, I'm very sorry if I unjustly disturbed you. I do mean you no harm or illwill, but peace. That's why I wrote what I wrote. I'm also sorry I got your name wrong. Wrong assumption, and I guess I shouldn't have assumed in the first place. I'm very sorry for the loss of your mother. And I'm sorry I...

The CCC however adds on to the Bible! Does it give more Meaning? Or does it add on like the Pharisees added onto what the Old Testament said? I would rather use the Bible to tell me how my Faith should be not the CCC. My Thoughts... oh oh oh. BTW Welcome to the Forums Mary's Little One. I hope you ...

Kate's disagreement lies in the differences between Protestantism and Catholicism. Honestly....I still don't see what Kate was trying to say (sorry Kate)...yeah....there ARE differences between the Protestant and Catholic religions. It's still the same bible. Well actually....the Protestant version...

Little One, (I find offense in your placing yourself at the feet of Mary, who was equal to all other Christians and not above them,) I'm worried for you. You have been taught so much by your Church, and you believe it all without, apparently, hesitation or any doubt of any kind. People are so infal...

It's better sometimes to go directly to the horse's mouth (Bible) rather than to something that the papacy wrote, since history has shown that Popes aren't infallible. I agree with you...it's just that the CCC is a book that is very useful for catholics that are a bit confused about their faith. (r...

The catechism of the catholic church explains certain things that are found in the Bible such as about homosexuality, adultary, contraception, etc. So by finding it in the CCC...it should tell you that it IS in the Bible...somewhere! See...the Bible was written in a different time than hours....so ...

I just remember reading it in the Catechism of the Catholic Church. XenonII wrote: Where does it say in the Bible?[/quote] Once again...I don't know where exactly all theses passages are found in the Bible. (It's a pretty big book) So if you are really interested in this topic, I'm sure that if you...

First of all any kind of sexual activities outside of marriage is MORALLY WRONG! Now within marriage oral sex could also be wrong. I say COULD because oral sex could NOT be a sin in certain cases. If a couple is using oral sex as some kind of sexual enticement...that will ULTIMATELY end in FULL sex...

Can you point me to some Scriptures about this...? I just found some useful information that you may be interested in. There is one form of contraception that is allowed by the church, and that is abstaining from sex when a woman ovulates every month! This form of contraception is OK! Being religious is not easy...that is why many people do not choose to use this form of contraception. But that doesn't mean that co...

i think oral sex is cool. i think it rules! so, if one is married, they HAVE to have sex with their spouse after all sexual exchanges? and they have to do it with the intent to have a child? doesn't sound right. Remember that a woman can only get pregnant 3 to 4 days of the whole month. So all the ...
