Re: Sinning in Dreams

The only time I have such dreams is if I sin beforehand while awake--and they are about the same thing.

Re: Bible as God's word

I have to disagree here. I don't think believing in Bible Inerrancy is absolutely essential to being a Christian, though it certainly is a big part of it. Matthew 4:4 Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” Seems pret...

Re: Bible as God's word

When I admitted that I personally believe that some parts of the Bible were not recorded the way God intended God is omnipotent, omniscient, etc etc... He can't write the Bible in a way other than He intended. What I meant is that I think it is possible that maybe the people who were writing the Bi...

Re: Spiritual warfare

Is it something only for cults No. or is this something for even thinking Christians like us? Yes. Hi all, what is spiritual warfare? And if so, how do we do it? Prayer was the first thing that came to mind. Prayer is warfare. Other things included in spiritual warfare would reading the Bible, resi...

A Lame Science Joke

Bob was an astronaut, but he's not anymore. He landed on an object he thought had a mass of 2.5x1024, in kilograms.

Re: Aliens

I remember reading something about a potentially habitable exoplanet. It was on PopSci, about Gliese 581 g. http://www.popsci.com/science/article/2010-09/discovery-first-earth-habitable-exoplanet-will-be-announced-may-2011-maybe The comments turned into a Religion vs Science debate. That was annoyin...

Re: Aliens

The Bible seems to make the Earth out to be the main focus of everything from my perspective. I would say that God is the focus of the Bible. :amen: My opinion on aliens is that God can do whatever he wants, so if wanted to create aliens that's fine with me. When I read scifi with aliens in it, I a...

Re: Aliens

How would the existence of aliens effect theology, belief in God, salvation, etc?
Aliens are often attributed to evolution, but from a Creationist perspective God made the aliens.

Aliens

Hi What are your opinions on extraterrestrial beings? As far as I know, the only kind of beings mentioned in the Bible are spiritual beings. Thus the Bible doesn't have much to say for or against aliens. If we find non-sentient aliens on another world, what would you think? What if we find sentient ...
