Your arguments ar painfully circular. Your reading of evidence sounds like the talking points of the National Center for Selling Evolution. It is very simple, macroevolution cannot be extrapolated from microevolution at this time. Perhaps in the future it will be. Also, you referenced spontaneous ge...

Hi Jac, Thanks for the note and I appreciate your tone. By the way, I am not a RC. I am an Evangelical Christian married to a Messianic Jew. I honestly do not understand the deadness issue. If I am to evaluate your position, I need to understand the difference between deadness and sin. I have never ...

Puritan Lad, Thanks for helping me with Daniel. I have looked at all sides of the issue and I now completely agree that Daniel's weeks were completed in the first century. This seems to be an amazing apologetic that is lost on those whom beleive that there is a gap. I do not agree with some of the p...

No problem jac, but you gotta chill. Just because people do not disagree with you, they are not threatening you. The Bible is inerrantly inspired by God, but we are like the apostles. Sometimes things seem very clear to us and we get into a theological corner defending our interpretation and we comp...

hmmm, I totally disagree with your first question. Ofcourse we are in a state of constant sin as we are all stained with sin. I cannot understand how you can say that Christians do not sin. This not only sounds gnostic, but anti-realist. I will get back to you on pistus as I learned from a teacher f...

I do not understand the point of your post. Obviously, we all live in a constant state of sin for even if we think about violating a commandment, then we are in a state of sin. That is exactly why we cannot save ourselves and our work cannot save our souls. My examples are spot on as these folks cla...

Sorry I have not gotten back to this thread-I am overwhelmed at work and at home (we have new twins to go along with the other 3 kids). Also, You will be judged on your works and you will receive your rewards in heaven for your works. You must have faith to get into heaven though. Faith without work...

It is an attack on the Whale Phylogeny, not an attack on evolution. Evolution is a fact, the question is how it happened. Was it programmed? Was it purely naturalistic? Was it Divine? Neither you, Dawkins, Behe, Dennet or I know for a fact. The whale tale is pure metaphysics.

I was not misrepresenting his opinion, I used his quote. Your statement is false and you have clearly been toasted by Kmart. Go suck on the exhaust pipe of naturalism my friend.

I just want to thank you guys for always having a spirited and factually supported debate. I am referring to the many threads that you have posted with concern to this topic. I think it is pretty stupid when people attack each other for disagreement when they are both clearly followers of Christ. Ch...

bizzt,
Without Faith, we will not have works. We can see that someone has no faith if they are not indwelled by the Holy Spirit which creates good works.
