Re: Dark Matter and the big bang

Because current thinking is that this dark energy literally emerges from empty space and this is causing the expansion rate to accelerate. Still looking for the links on who has this 'current thinking', until then I'm firmly over here... Everything is still thought to have expanded from a singulari...

Anyone own a laymans book on the universe I can borrow :) Awesome! (lmao) I haven't read that much about dark matter, I assumed everything came from the big bang, including dark matter. Does the article say why they think it has appeared since? Or are there other links that do? just curious...

I also agree with demons being territorial and possibly following family lines. And that is why I also believe that you are MORE LIKELY to be afflicted by demons if the company you keep is afflicted. That stuff rubs off, IMO. So you may not think your hurting anyone by visiting the strip club every ...

I know I wasn't speculating when Christ will return but...

I'm having a hard time understanding your post Wayne, can you post it again and elaborate?

How does it read and how do people miss use it?

If I misused it... sorry

Which is exactly my point. And the average sheep herder back then was not bickering about whether God meant 6 24hr days either. So for anyone to say that 'God would have said it differently, if He meant it differently' is not necessarily true. I'm sure 'A day is like a thousand years' twisted the mi...

And one other thing, We do need to keep in mind when the Bible was written, The adverage sheep hearder of the time, would not understand variable time passage in moving reference frames or gravity extremes... Had God written the Bible as he might have for today, how confusing would that have been th...

While that may be true (plain meaning of words) , I don't think the average individual can read through the Bible and comprehend it to the degree that it can be with a lifetime of intense study... I am one of those average individuals, so then my question to you is: Are you? And if you are one of us...

I agree if God left stuff out, and my interpretation is wrong that doesn't make God any less God. I don't see that the stars look old or young, those are interpretations. We do know that God streatched out the heavens and made the earth, and that he is the Holy God that Created. Amen to that... Jes...

Re: Fossil record better interpreted

Another factor I want to add in here, to illustrate the big difference is the growth rate of plants. It was fantastic. We see plants were made only a few days before the men and creatures that were to eat them were made. How can a tree grow in days? Yet, Adam, days after he was made, was there eati...

Ok, so the population is in line with what we would expect after the flood... Great, thats proves there was a flood, and it proves that everyone but a small number died in the flood. How exactly does that extrapolate to a preflood population? They all died... were it 1 million, or 1 thousand, only 1...

Interesting article. Who wrote it? I , however, have a problem giving the name micro-evolution to chickens and dogs, when 'breeding' would better be defined as human designed artificial selection. Great danes and chihuahuas and the 143 'kinds' of chickens would disappear if returned to nature. Nor w...

ikester7579, Several, but not all, of us believe that God loves us, AND HE created the earth AND that the earth experienced 14+ billion years of time. What I see, is after the discussion wasn't favoring YOUR position, you stormed off and cryed foul. There was no bashing that I saw. It is obvious tha...

If all I can get from debating you are insults in explainations made for elementary school, why bother? The only thing I get from this post is: Your a creationist, and therefore stupid. I didn't get that from you AT ALL Bgood... ikester7579, since you are new here, you didn't know, Bgood is some so...
