Re: What are you listening to?
I constantly listen to something. I spend at least 2-3 hours a day listening to music, plus I often let it run in the background while I do something. I don't play any instruments though - I might take one up in the future. I listen to a wide range of genres and time periods. Some of the oldest tune...

You could ask the same question, why care about science if we're all going to die and that's the end.

Re: Religious Beliefs
Hello, Jordan. Welcome. Why do most children follow their families religious beliefs? You could ask the same question about other traits we inherit from our parents. Many children will inherit political beliefs of their parents, or behavioural patterns, but not necessarily of course. People change d...

Reactionary, Croatia ain't the USS of A. I'm aware of that. Please do some research on geography, and you'll find actual countries outside the US. I think you'll be amazed by that discovery. :pound: Please do some research about what happened here with the big bank bailout. I think you'll change yo...

Re: I'm depressed....
Hi, Callisto. I understand you. Sometimes I feel the same way. It's just that, since I'm a Thinker rather than Feeler , worries and concerns tend to affect me less. Still, I can't say that I don't sometimes feel what you do. Let's go step by step. 1) The Internet. Avoid Christian-bashing sites. Intu...

Re: Socialism
Reactionary, you just used, probably the worst example possible, to try to convince an American that socialism is good. Government bailing out banks. Oh my goodness... y#-o What socialism? I'm a proponent of welfare state , not socialism. Governments bail out banks. It is estimated that in t...

Re: Socialism
Protector, I realize that we are responsible for our own well-being, but some services are in the community's best interests, and it makes sense for the State to take care of them. You can't say, for instance, that we are ultimately responsible for our self-defense - that's why we have law enforceme...

Re: Laws of an Atheist Utopia
As I said once somewhere else, out of those 10 countries Pierson brought up, 9 have a long-lasting Christian heritage. What that post is saying is like having a government in power for a very long time, one that governs successfully and creates prosperity. Then another government is elected and they...

Re: From nothing comes nothing
Just because we don't know something at the moment, doesn't mean we should resort to magical beings in the sky. :soap: Over time, there are fewer and fewer gaps in our understanding of the universe that we could fill with a non-existent deity. Science and reason will, as always, triumph over ignoran...

I've asked myself the same thing. And I couldn't manage to find out. There are very few female INTJs. The site I linked says about 0,5%.1over137 wrote:Cool, Reactionary. And what was Marie Curie?

Re: One person will not change the world
well, I am an idealist. Always wanting the world to be a better place and contributing to it. Typical for an INTJ. INTJs make up only about 1,5% of the population, yet there are so many of them (us ;) ) who have left a trace in this world.
