Re: Assuming that I lose all or most of my friends and famil
Well another thing that comes to my mind regarding this, assuming that what you said is true, and that there are only a few thousand or even a few hundred that make it into heaven, won't that make things very boring and lonely? Now granted, I've read a ton of good material or should I say "feel...

Re: Assuming that I lose all or most of my friends and famil
Well something else I was going to mention, besides the obvious sorrow, how will people in heaven who have very few if not any family members deal with the lucky folks who came from Godly families who either has their entire family and or nearly all their entire family with them? How are the "h...

Re: Assuming that I lose all or most of my friends and famil
Great response! I never viewed that verse that, but you certainly do have a point. If somehow I don't get to have children in this life, in the afterlife if there are any children that died as preborn infants because of abortion and both their parents die lost, I would love to be like a father or a ...

Great article on how to engage hateful non believers
This works well for online as well as real life "offline" conversations. I found it to be very helpful. Thanks for your time, GB.

Re: Shroud of Turin
Hey guys, I just found some new videos on the Shroud from a presentation done just five days ago on April 2nd. It was done at Jesuit High School and the presentation is by Dr. J. Wayne Phillips. Here are all five parts of that presentation, looks like it's very very good. Enjoy guys, GB. https://www...

Assuming that I lose all or most of my friends and family...
I know I sound like a broken record, but I felt like I needed to get this out to focus on another area of my previous like minded threads. Now assuming that most or nearly all of my friends, family, acquaintances and so on end up lost and in hell, do you think in order for me to be happy in heaven w...

Re: A brick wall.
Thank you very much DRDS. I really appreciate you going to all that trouble. I will work my way through those links - I have read some of the reasons.org ones before. I think the level 1 Multiverse idea sits very nicely with me and it is kinda of what Byblos was hinting at with his idea (correct me...

Re: A brick wall.
And if it will let me, here is what I could copy and paste from that discussion if you don't want to sign up to facebook and join that group... Greetings everyone. At the apologetics message board I hang out at www.discussions.godandscience.com I noticed that some people were expressing concerns abo...

Re: A brick wall.
Hey Silvertusk, after reading this I decided to help you out by asking the folks at the Christian Apologetics Alliance. It's a group on facebook and many top apologists use it. So far, I've already got a few responses and I think you might find some of it helpful. Here is the link to the facebook gr...

Please pray for my cousin
Hello everyone, if it's ok, please pray for my cousin, I think she is drifting away from God. I think she's entertaining the idea of becoming a lesbian. It seems like she and many people her age (she's like in her mid teens) are just becoming gay crazy. Everybody loves to see them as victims and the...
